So my order still says shipping soon and wanted to cancel to avoid a heart attack but Amazon says it is too late. The caviar is already on ice, what am I supposed to do?

Those reviews are worthless as they were posted before any of the "reviewers" had seen the movies or even read a professional review of the movies .

When I came home from work today, I found a box from Amazon waiting for me. I just finished watching The Phantom Menace on Blu. So far it's looking good and the audio is phenomenal. Can't wait to watch the rest but I have to work this entire weekend so I'll have to wait till Monday.

What I meant was that I got mine today from Walmart.com. They did 2 day Fedex shipping. I was afraid I wouldn't get it by the weekend.

I watched the Star Wars Spoofs. One that I remember that wasn't included was from The Pirate Movie from 1982:

or better yet: THE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL lol
My first reaction was to laugh. My second was that Wicket looks terrifying and I think he's coming to get me.

Cool. I just can't stand the wait. I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing that Star Wars was just sitting there waiting for me.

My new A-Board was put into my Panasonic today (no more fluctuating brightness). A new Always Sunny in Philadelphia in two hours, and Star Wars in 4.

Could anyone ask for a better Thursday?

Oh and LSU just won.

The countdown clock at starwars.com is done. I guess we can start seeing the rest of the reviews popping up online. I am waiting for the digital bits tonight.

I received mine today and I'm overall pleased with the package. An HD Empire of Dreams, trailers, and deleted scenes from the prequels would've sent this over the top. Maybe even a documentary on the entire prequels would have been nice, as well.

That said, the films are presented fairly well, random lightsaber issues aside. I haven't looked at them all but I was pleased with Phantom Menace (although I did find the image a tad dark at times including some duller looking sabers at the beginning of duel of the fates). Sith is the absolute standout in quality. Jedi is amazing to watch all these years later. The Jabba puppet looks absolutely fantastic. I don't hate all the changes. I actually don't happen to think the NOOOO scene ruins Jedi. It kinda works, but it wasn't a scene that needed to be changed anyway. Blinking ewoks are a plus for me. The rancor looks fantastic.

My FAVORITE aspect of the set (and my wife can't believe how excited I am about this) are the subtitles whenever an alien speaks. They finally went to the original theatrical font for these moments. At first I thought this was burnt in but they are not. It's like how the subtitles were used in The Godfather films. Perfect subtitles and gave me a bit of nostalgia of seeing the original trilogy on VHS and the Special Edition screenings (wasn't old enough to see the original trilogy during the initial theatrical run).

I wouldnt be surprised to see a nice price from Amazon as a lightening deal on Black Friday. But quantities will be very limited, almost no doubt about that

Hey can someone tell me if they saw a few blue streaks in the middle of the picture in Phantom Mence at the part where they have the parade at the end?

Yeah, I loved when Mark Hamill mentioned that. Seeing what so many of the early attempts looked like, its truly amazing that the studio suits couldn't think of anything else to whine about. I also liked when Mark described the filming for his Dagobah scenes for "Empire"; everyone was worried about everything except his performance, and he even picked up the Rolling Stones on his earpiece once!
