Sorry man, I am not an OCD person. I have my projector well calibrated and barely have to adjust it for 99 percent of the movies I buy. I had to screw around with my brightness and color settings to get these movies looking decent. It's not even a nitpick. Just one look at them and I could tell they were subpar transfers. I love these movies and expected them to be mastered at the highest quality. So I am DISAPPOINTED. Am I going to jump off a bridge? No. Will I watch these? Yes. Did I expect better? Certainly, especially when I see other films from the era that look ten times better on blu-ray.

Meh, I've said it before, and I'll say it again... BD Live is a joke. Some studios (Disney comes to mind) who were once gung-ho about it have all but dropped it. Disney's more recent releases haven't really used it.

To me, either put the extra content on a disc or just don't bother with it. Don't put it up as virtual content that potentially could be taken down at any time that I have to connect my player to the internet in order to watch. Either put it on the disc, or just make it availalbe on a website that anyone can log into. Don't turn it into some kind of annoying mixture of the most inconvenient aspects of both.

May the Force be with us all!
Did i miss something, was this at Future shop?
I got the pictures, how did you get the pointer and win the lightsaber?
Did you have to be there early in the morning?

Your spot on. The thing is i remember myself having the same discussions with people who defended the original Gladiator blu ray.

Bought mine this morning.

I took my lunch at 9:45 and went to my local BestBuy.

It was magical. They had a big huge TIE figher display.

I bought the two Trilogies separately because they need to be in different places in my collection and I don't really like the packaging of the whole set.

Enjoy everybody.

Happy StarWars Blu-ray day!!!

picked up the complete saga at Best Buy.. just yesterday I went in to grab
the pre-sell deal with that film cell..

my first time I actually dealt with a 'pre-sell'.. didn't realize they actually refunded
the payment on the film cell.. thought it would have just subtracted from the
total amount of the blu-ray instead..

anyways applied a $5 gift certificate and 2 $10 gift certificates from shopkick..
$54.99 and a free t-shirt

saw someone's post earlier about the Laserdisc version.. yeah I purchased that
back in the day for $250.00, so today's transaction was well worth it

Did Kenkraly get his blu-rays yet? Genuinely interested to see how he likes them, as he's been very excited for quite some time!

How busy were the midnight release parties? Those bonus lithographs seem pretty cool.

Yeah I'll buy Star Wars on blu ......... harvest that is:

Experience Han shooting first in upscaled defintion ya'll

The OCD over that and other changes is no worse than the delivery OCD that took over this thread the past few days.
