If you already know the big plot twist theres no reason to watch IV-VI first. And considering your in this thread I bet you already know a lot about the plot twists in the OT so you will never have that experiance of finding out on your own...

So might as well go I-VI

OT then PT.

I don't think The Phantom Menace works all that well to begin with but I can't imagine it working at all without the context of the OT.

4-5-6 first. other wise it makes it's arc a lot more mundane for the first watch.

not to mention half the allure to 1-2-3 is that it's foreshadowing things that happen in 4-5-6.

after your first viewing, if you enjoyed them all then it's fun to do 1-6.

I don't know if this is for all stores so YMMV.

As for the t-shirt itself, it's the cheaper thin material that doesn't feel like it'll last. Get it free, but don't pay the $10 unless you really, REALLY want to look cool with a Darth Vader shirt when you take your girl out on a date tonight.
I tried to order online but it wouldn't let me do "in store" pick up with the shirt. I'll just give them a call and see if they have it.

If I had a date to sport it I would

+1. It feels strange watching them backwards. How many shows have been on over the years that cover some backstory midseason if needed. It just makes more sense that way.

I would agree to IV-VI first if they had no idea of the big reveal. But if they know that already there really isn't any point in seeig the PT first. Ever since the whole saga has been releasd I always watch I-VI.

No, not really. I would imagine at some point we'll see additional films set in the Star Wars universe but I don't see all that much to gain by explicitly following the existing storylines.

If anything, I'd like to see GL revisit his (very early) idea of farming out Star Wars movies ala the Bond franchise.

Star Wars is a a must own/watch for anyone that enjoys movies . Six Star Wars movies for $80 is an awesome deal...when VHS first came out you would pay $80 for one VHS movie that had stereo sound, terrible PQ, and incorrect aspect ratio .

Certainly, especially when I see other films from the era that look ten times better on blu-ray.
Which films? Let me just say you are full of sh*t. Is it Taxi Driver - 5.0 PQ? No, but it's definitely 4, definitley a great transfer, and definitely worth enjoying without crying about.

watched the deleted scenes, while none of them will likely make anyone stop and think "why the heck was that cut?!" they were interesting to see none the less. Happy Lucas finally let them out of the vault.

I wouldn't leti t bother you, I'm fairly certain they will be made at some point.

Probably not with the original actors of 4-6.

But they will be made eventually.

Never trust anyone who works for Lucasfilm that says otherwise. It's their S.O.P to deny plans for things until preproduction is already under way.

They always try to maximize announcements to tie in with some kind of new content or merchandise being released.

There is way too much money to be lost not making them. Might not even be Lucas who makes them, could be his kids. But I can guarantee it won't be his wife.

We have to wait for the 3D releases (if they happen beyond TPM). and then to see what if anything materializes of the live-action tv series plans. After that, I think you'll start hearing more murmurs.
