Best is to play to beer fest, every time they drink you drink, its pretty much impossible to make it an hour into the movie.
Dazed and Confused is the classic drinking movie. You'll hate Slater and Mitch by the end.

As for Star Wars, any time a wipe fade transition is used, drink!

Started Jedi tonight, about halfway though it seems to be the best looking and sounding of the originals to me.

I prefer the look of puppet Yoda in Empire to the CG versions.

Feel free to gauge the importance of a character by how many stupid action scenes he's involved in, but I won't join you.
I couldn't agree more.

That's why there is cooling fluid in your car instead of just hoping for the heat to radiate off on its own through the thin medium of air.

Sounds like my 6 year old whenever he watches a movie. He recently got into the 'Indiana Jones' movies and if I even walk through the room it's "How many bad guys are in this?" "Does he die?" "Is this the same guy that was in Star Wars?" etc...

Back when VCRs cost a grand I can't even guess how many times I played the duel cut from the Empire soundtrack.

I'm not a big fan of the indispensible individual concept when it comes to collaborative works but I think a pretty solid case could be made for John Williams. Without that particular guy doing those particular soundtracks that particular way there's a pretty good chance Star Wars (77) would have been a one and done.

Though I love me some Imperial March and Duel of the Fates, nothing quite does it for me like:

Star Wars Episode V Soundtrack - Rebel Fleet/End Title - YouTube

When the whole orchestra swells up for that last few bars before the end theme kicks in, it's very emotional.

Part of it is because I equate it with the end of Empire, which is far and away the best and my favorite SW movie, but I mean that melody is just incredible and the buildup is fantastic.

I think that lame 'Pomp & Circumstance' graduation song should be replaced wholesale by the Rebel Fleet/End Title.
Still and will always be The Imperial March, which was first featured in The Empire Strikes Back. It's actually been my cell phone ring for many years.

There are people on here that do not even understand what we are complaining about with these things. A moisture farm is....a moisture farm. I would guess it farms...moisture. I don't need to think about it - it doesn't trip me up in any way. The pt is full of wtf?! moments. But they literally can't - or won't - see the difference, so there is no point in trying.

Sounds too much like Mendelssohn's Wedding March to me, which makes that scene kinda silly.

Favorite music piece? That's a hard question, there are so many good one, the Main Theme, the Imperial March, Duel of the Fates, and Battle of the Heroes all stand out, but recently I've been liking the "Luke and Leia" theme from RotJ. It's not used a lot in the movie, but the song on its own is actually quite good.
