If I remember correctly, Chung just made a statement about it when she was doing an editorial on the Lucas empire at the time of the release of Menace. She said the interview was ended by Lucas when she began to get critical.

I vaguely remember her asking him what he thought of all the negative comments from fans and critics alike, and that's when he ended things.

Not really. It's a simple question. He obviously wasn't emotionally ready to answer it, as he walked out and then kicked her out. John Stewart just basically addressed the same things in a different way, and Lucas was level headed an unapologetic in his response, indicating he has come to terms with the negative comments in his own way. Walking out on Chung just supports what has been indicated earlier, in that he was upset over the negative feedback as he was making the films (at least the first two).

He is right though, there are three generations of SW fans now. What once was universally praised is now fractured into different camps.

No. Clones didn't exist yet. It was a Phantom Menace interview. I think he and Chung kiss and made up by that point.

But that's the thing; if these good folks hate Phantom Menace as much as they say, then why would they bother watching the extras for it? So they're none the wiser, bless 'em.

To my eyes the CG integrates surprisingly well on Blu-ray, not least because little touches like the ersatz lens artefacts were lost in SD. Then again, I don't have a pathological dislike of digital effects. I guess that helps.

I was telling my friend how look stuff from TPM and AOTC stood up considering they're from '99 and '02. By the way, we watched it on his 55" Sony TV about 8" away, and I'm sure it wasn't calibrated. Jar Jar did stood out a bit, but even then, he look extremely detailed (that makes you wonder about how Avatar's CG quality ).

Finished Empire. Amazing. Is it me or when the Slave 1 leaves Cloud City, they forgot to add a "windshield" to it? I always wondered that but now in Blu we definetely don't see it.

Cause most people who like both bought the Complete Saga, especially for the Bonus Discs. It's not really Rocket Science.

Loving the 'Collection' feature from the bonus discs, but I wish there was a Collection Play All button instead of having to exit out of each item to move on to the next.
