For the story beginning to end, stick with internal chronology (1-6). That's of course, if you wish to watch it in the order that George Lucas intended.

Knowing what has been said many times about George Lucas' original intentions, the order he meant for us to watch him in was the order they were released in.

That being said, revisionist history might apply here for some people, so believe what you want to believe.

I finished viewing all the 6 Star Wars Blu-ray's for the first time a few weeks ago and I thought they were pretty entertaining. Since I'm not a long time fan, this is why I may like the two films I'm about to mention the most. I thought that the original Star Wars and Revenge Of The Sith were the best ones in the series. I really liked how the story in Revenge Of The Sith came together greatly to set up to the story of the the original Star Wars. The entire Revenge Of The Sith film was executed wonderfully. The original Star Wars was a pretty entertaining film as well and it has its charm.

As for the others; I really didn't care a whole lot for The Phantom Menace. Following the young Darth Vader was the most entertaining thing about it, but the film seemed a bit too silly at times. Attack Of The Clones was much better, but I didn't care a whole lot for it. The Empire Strikes back was ok, better than the previous two I mentioned. Return Of The Jedi was my least liked of the original trilogy. I saw the original trilogy first and then I saw the prequels. The picture quality during the opening scene of the original Star Wars movie looked pretty impressive, but after they left the scene, the rest of the films didn't impress me much. Revenge Of The Sith looked good though, while The Phantom Menace was the worst looking one.

The two films that have replay value for me is A New Hope and Revenge Of The Sith, but I prefer to have all the movies for the complete story. So when the price is right, I'll buy the complete saga.

Finally finished the boxed set, LOVED IT. The pq is untouchable, nothing I've seen ever looked this great.

As for the added things in the movies, I really did not mind any of it to be honest. I liked the CGI monsters on Tatooine and everything. I never saw the Special Editions before but I can say I liked them a lot.

I just think the hardcore fans are crying *****es. These additions were NOTHING what you girls made them out to be.

It still disturbs me George Lucas went through with 2 kissing scenes of brother and sister and I think that alone should be an issue over the cgi additions lol.

This set is worth every penny and the price wasn't expensive either way.

Why didnt Lucas cast Luke and Leia as look-a-likes since he always planned them as twins before ANH?

Doesnt Robbie Benson look like a more convincing "twin" than Mark Hammill..........

Do you really think he intended that from the beginning?

And also, twins don't always look identical .

I bought the Complete Saga on release day, and I still haven't watched all of the bonus stuff. I did watch all the movies(1-6) twice, and the OT outakes, and I've also watched the parodies a few times, and skimmed a few of the other features. I have also watched a few key scenes from the movies over and over. I love to demo the audio on the pod race for my friends.

I've got twins (a boy and a girl) and there's simply no way to count the number of people, after me telling them the sex of them, who've asked me if they were identical. I kid you not, but the look on my face might have given them a slight indication of how many different kinds of stupid I was thinking they were at the time. I actually had one person want to argue with me that you can have identical twins and that they can be a boy and a girl and they were prepared to dig in for the long run on that argument. Some people...

As for the whole "whether Lucas intended it or not" conversation, well that look of "SCORE!!!" that Luke gives Han says it all. If he did intend them to be brother and sister from the beginning (or at least ESB) then you gotta wonder what his thinking was including that whole competition over Leia subplot! If he didn't then you have to wonder why he had to compound the fact by having Leia state in ROTJ that she's "somehow always known" Luke was her brother. If she truly did know then you have to wonder what good ole Jimmy Smits was teaching his family was OK!

That's even more disturbing since he could have come up with that idea for them being twins even after he knew they kissed twice.

Now I'm even more disturbed by it all.

Still a great Blu release.
