Yes, hours of sleep that cause me to post in it oh, once every several weeks.

No but coming in here to be negative (also known as trolling) is a different story!

I have a grandnephew who just turned 6. He has loved Star Wars since he was 4. As a result, its never a problem picking out birthday and Christmas gifts for him. He'll probably be posting in this thread in about 14 years.

Hell, I just finished (10 minutes ago) watching Return of the Jedi. Haven't had time to watch every film as a marathon when it first came out. I think this thread is still very relevant.

I love to see young people get into what I consider good movies and good music. So many young people are not curious about what came before. Hell, I need to get some more good ol' sh!t.

What's up Koov?
Yeah Star Wars is awesome. I even like the "bad" ones.

By the way, what constitutes a reason for a topic to become a "sticky"? I know it is listed at the top of the page, in a list of particular threads, but what defines a "sticky"? Is it a main reference topic for that particular forum? If so, I don't have a problem with Star Wars being a sticky in Blu-ray Movies - North America. For that matter, I personally think Lord of the Rings should be one too.

now back to the star wars topic ")

im kinda thinking on how Alec Guinness is doing the best act of Obi Wan in episode IV when he quotes " I dont seem to recall ever owning a droid " lol when he even have good relationship with r2-d2 in clone wars even in ROTS. His facial expression just matches the whole story wise, where he is like hiding it from Luke owning a droid before. Alec Guinness is just brilliant as ever. And seriously all of the actors here in this movie just doing the job reading their scripts act with it and Lucas didn't even have the whole episode 1 - 3 story lines at that time. He cares bout the success of his first Star Wars. I guess its not even called episode IV at that time.

I watched The Phantom Menace a few days ago and surprisingly I didn't mind it, even though I was bored out of my mind when I tried to watch my DVD on my old CRT SDTV a few months ago. The power of HD

Technically, surely one of the most inconsistent looking discs I've ever seen, but it has its moments.

I doubt that Lucas had planned for Obi-Wan to have a droid in epsiode III while filming episode IV.

That isn't trolling, I'm legitimately wondering why it's still sticky. Even other big threads like LOTR were gone after maybe a week or two of release. This has been here for just under three months.

I just don't see the point. No, it doesn't "bother me", but I'm still curious why it's receiving this kind of treatment.
