The micro series was removed from continuity. That is why I am saying this show needed to lead into RotS.

Actually, "West Side Story" (which itself is based on "Romeo and Juliet") set in the Star Wars Universe might make for a good movie. Instead of the Jets and the Sharks it could be the Jedi and the Sith. Some Sith girl can fall in love with Luke's daughter or granddaughter or whatever. The Sith can sing "I Like to Be in Tatooine":

Is there confirmation on this? Why was it removed? Now that it's removed, the series begins with no explaination of Ventress and ends without leading into the movie... Kind of awkward?

Sorry, but there's no proof. Besides George considers the micro series as a pilot series for the CGI series, so it seems to be acknowledged in the continuity.

He was pretty terrible. But in fairness to him, so was just about everybody else (with one or two exceptions). Lucas sure knows how to bring out the worst in otherwise talented actors.

He was cool until his figure arrived not as advertised, that was just a harbinger of lameness to come. There really is no more overrated character in film.

Boba Fett was never cool. He did nothing. He got killed by a blind man by accident.

Hayden is not that bad of an actor. Yes, he sucks, but look at him in the scenes with Palpatine when he talks about Darth Plagus and look at his emotions when Padme tells him she is pregnant.

Yeah. I mean, you know, of course it bothers me. But, you know, it's George's characters. It's his world and he has to do what he has to do. And the new ones are totally inspired by what we did: A lot of the same character designs and stuff.

No, again, it's not my characters, so he can do whatever he wants. And the story was also that I was going to do it. I was going to go to Lucas and be their John Lasseter-type of person and do a feature and supervise the "Star Wars" television show. And things kind of fell apart, blah blah blah. But, yeah, I'm super proud of what we did. And I felt like we did a justice to "Star Wars" and as a fan.

I mean, people haven't forgotten them, even though we are supposed to.
That's the one thing that is kind of weird that he just wants to wipe it off. Because we used to be in the encyclopedias, some of the characters that we created. And now they're gone. And you can't get the DVD and all of this other stuff. And it's like, whatever. What are you going to do, right? It existed.
