I mean, George gave permission for that 1 print at that 1 theater, so no way my podunk single screen gets the UOT, right? Even if it was in ol Lucas' home town, Sigh...

Digital Bits thinks all Star Wars films will enter 4K early next year. This has to be true. Think about it: Disney is finishing 4K-ing their Marvel and Pixar. The biggest series next in line is Star Wars.

The fan-made 4K of Star Wars (1977) looks so so gorgeous. Hopefully the actual release will be as striking.

Not to mention they now have ownership of Fox so the chances are now greater than before (provided the Fox logos and fanfares for I, II, III, V, and VI are there).
