They'll probably just be the Fox discs.

But if the logo and fanfare is remove. I'm going to launch a complaint (and you should too). Besides, again, they own Fox now so why not keep them?

It’s rumored that UHD will be coming first half of 2020... These are bait!

$35 for each episode of the prequel trilogy and $26 for each episode of the original trilogy? There has to be more to these than a generic re-release.

The OT could be released in 120K and include a free 70 foot TV and a new house to hold it but if they are the Special Editions they can keep them.

Last mad dash for the door for a mainstream physical media release before everyone on the planet is able to watch all the Star Wars films on Disney+?

I read that they were not the special editions... if it’s gonna happen it will probably be when episode 9 comes out on disc

If these were anything more than what is already available the marketing blitz would have already begun since the release date is less that two months from now.

Since the steelbooks didn't come with digital copies, this is their chance to sell them with digital copies. Then they will sell them as UHD. Then they will sell them as limited editions with special features. Then they will sell them as a boxed set. Rinse and repeat. This is Star Wars we're talking about. They release it as many times as they can. Over the years, i have bought these movies in every form imaginable. I doubt it's going to stop anytime soon.

The current The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi (spits on floor) releases don't have the episode numbers on them so I wonder if they will leave them off these new releases for the Prequel and Original Trilogy or if they will be added to those two films?

My digital versions on iTunes and Vudu don't have episode numbers. Maybe that's where we're going like the rest of the Star Wars films moving forward. Don't know. Shrug.

Another thing I wonder is if they will have the original poster art or they will be like the new Pixar releases of catalogue titles where they don't? Same with the new releases of the Marvel films. Just wasting time and wondering since we don't have much to go on at this time.

Doubt it. Would be fun, but doubt it.

I don't know why they are only being re-released on regular Blu-Ray and not on 4K Blu-Ray. Why not release them both at the same time?

Maybe the 4K are not all done yet and they figured they could get the fans to buy everything again in lead up to The Rise Of Skywalker?

I see no reason to re-buy these movies. Again.

No episode numbers on the iTunes and VUDU artworks, or on the opening title?
