I'm curious about how that will shake out moving forward as well.

The absence of the Fox logo would really suck.

Well, Lucasfilm thought it was a good idea to make an action figure the main focus of The Rise of Skywalker's theatrical poster so....

It's going to be absent on Disney+. That's been confirmed. I don't see a reason why that won't continue on the discs moving forward, hence the reason why I'll keep my Fox set as long as I can.

I just don't understand why they can't also keep them on the Disney+ masters. They own Fox now, they can add the logo without any legal trouble.

What is the point of 1080P blu-ray that will sit on the racks of Best Buy ,Target and Walmart selling zero or close to it.They wonder why no one seems interested in buying these again. Get your act together Disney 4K discs have been around a while now ,no need to hold back. Indiana Jones, Star Wars ,Star Trek ...where are they? So I heard rumors of Star Wars on 4K latter this year or early 2020.If that's true this is crazy and wasteful to release these titles again. No 4k ,not interested.
There won't be a 4k release of the originals or the preeks this year. The earliest possible date would be when Episode IX comes to home video around Easter 2020, and even *then*, I figure they'll hold back until end of year 2020 for the holiday buying season -- as individual releases, as trilogy sets, and one big giant massive uber-expensive Star Wars Feature Film Collection box set that includes Rogue One and Solo.

As frustrating as the Prequels are, if they ever released the 3D versions of the Prequels that are just sitting around gathering dust in some databank, I'd pounce on those like a starving leopard.

Just out of curiosity (forgive me if this was mentioned somewhere in this thread), but why can't I find any evidence of these new versions outside of the listing on Blu-ray.com?
Even the direct links to Amazon and Best Buy come up with 'item not found' links (although on Best Buy the URL still says 'Star Wars A New Hope with Digital Copy' or something like that...
Links for the UPCs to Deep Discount and Blow it Outta Here come back with 'item not found'...

It seems like it's been pulled from all market places.
Or does Disney not even want them visible until release day?

Just trying to confirm the release is still happening... Hopefully I'm just missing something.

Why release the 4K discs when they could just keep them on Disney+ to gain subscribers. I'd bet they will be 4K HDR on there long before we see a disc version.

Amazon frequently pull Disney releases, and puts them back on on or right before release date, this is quite common and no reason to worry. The Rogue One blu-ray re-release still has its page up on Amazon though

34.99
Single disc according to the listing
No way they'd put out more expensive re-releases without any of the supplemental material. Makes no sense to me. The listing info has got to be wrong

39.99 is standard Disney msrp for new releases, it'll be down to 20 or 25 on release date. 1 disc is likely a typo.

Welp I'll be going to Best Buy this Sunday in the hopes they have them out for purchase. Hoping the OT and prequels aren't just bare bones releases. I hope they include at least SOME supplemental material

Yeah, that's why I asked... They don't exist on ANY popular online retailer site (Target, Best Buy, Amazon, Deep Discount, Blow it Outta Here...)

And every article I read only references the listings here as proof they've been announced at all...

Is there at least a press-release from Disney that even suggests they are thinking about this? D23 came and went, and to my knowledge, no mention of this release was made there...

How do we know blu-ray.com isn't punking us?

Not a typo. The back specifically says bonus material are on digital when you redeem the code.
