The way I see it is that it makes more sense for Lucas to have Anakin in his young Jedi form in the last scene of ROTJ with Obi Wan and Yoda. My reasoning is that soon after Anakin turned to the dark side, he fought Obi Wan and had both legs chopped off. In the original version of ROTJ, we see Sebastian Shaw as Anakin's aged force ghost with both of his natural legs intact. This could not be as Anakin lost those legs as a much younger man.
Once he turned to the darkside, the man that was once Anakin Skywalker died and became Darth Vader, who eventully lost both his limbs and was turned into a cyborg with mechanical limbs.
It's better to have a younger Anakin pre-fall to the dark side at the end of ROTJ than the trunk of Sebastian Shaw.

I've heard arguments from both sides of this, and they are both reasonable. Either his ghost represents himself before he turned to the darkside, or it represents a "pure" version of himself after coming back to the light. It's pretty much a wash. You can really argue either way.

I won't get into a long-winded thing about this again, but in my opinion, the ghost of young Anakin works better dramatically if you watch the prequels first, and the ghost of older Anakin works better if you don't.

Agreed. I have seen all of them over my cable in the last couple months & was vary impressed with the PQ & AQ (no matter how it was streamed to me) The Blu's I would think should be vary impressive compared to the DVD's I have.

Hoepfully full details of the additional 3 discs of bonus material

Most definitely...This is the biggest release in BD history...I'm hoping Lucas has decided to go all out with it. He sure did wait long enough but I don't blame him.

First thing, very likely, unfortunately.

Never thought of a deluxe box. I would so get a Vader box, or C-3PO. Don't laugh. Besides R2, C-3PO was the only character who didn't change throughout the films (Phantom Menace being the sole exception, Attack of the Clones just had a plate change). I doubt they would do a C-3PO box, but I can hope.

I'm giving Lucas the benefit of the doubt and say the video will be awesome, not perfect, but awesome. I don't care if the audio is 7.1 or 5.1, Dolby loseless or DTS loseless, it too will probably rock. What I want to know...what goodies will be lurking on the three extra discs of the saga set. I'll also see which ones make it to the trilogy sets, but I want to see what Lucas has planned that he needs three discs.
