Since many others have weighed in on their favorite and least favorite aspects of the six films, I'm going to take my turn.

I like episode 4 the best. It was the first one I saw and it had a feel that others didn't. I think GL and Mark Hamill did a GREAT job of conveying the angst that Luke was feeling about growing up, wanting to be somewhere else, struggling with other's expecatations of him, etc. And I think Hamill did it without being too whiney. There was a feeling of melancholy and also wonder at the world around him. It reminded me of the Lord of the Rings books (not the movies).

While there are laughable moments in the other films, Anakin's musings on sand, for instance, the ONE moment I HATED was Kenobi's line to Anakin: "Only a Sith deals with absolutes." GMAFB. How transparent could GL possibly get? Leave the political commentary out and tell your f***ing story.

If that's true, then NO ONE could say that what Anakin or Palpatine was doing was wrong. That would be dealing with absolutes.

Who then would give us a better view of the DrarkSide?
I want a darker more sinister look, more focused on vader him self.

Guillermo Del Toro would be an excellent choice, I know most would disagree but I think Tim Burton would do a good job.

I assume you mean the LOTR series. Well, the fact is, GL got inspiration for Star Wars, from a variety of sources, including Lord of the Rings. The first thing I said when I understood who Obi Wan Kenobi was: There's Gandalf!!!

yes to your assumption. lol, and I agree on the "borrowing" pretty much any sci-fi/fantasy film/book always borrows from someone else that influenced them earlier.

You can find unflattering photos of just about anyone, including for the women you posted here.

I just wanted to add two key points:

1) Your nose never stops growing.

2) Your ears never stop growing.

That explains Yoda's ears, both of which are bigger than his face.

It's actually true though. I wondered for years why elderly people had massive ears and noses.

I still feel Portman is a little underweight though. I don't want to see a woman's collarbone in its entirety. It's kind of freaky.
