I happen to agree with NYorker, the boxed cover art is CRAP!!! What happened to the classic "photo" covers or airbrushed artwork? I'm personally disappointed with the cover art for the original trilogy. Darth Vader on the cover? If I'm not mistaken, Darth Vader had a very minor role in the original trilogy and that the original trilogy focused on Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C-3PO.

I was expecting to see Luke Skywalker take center stage on the original trilogy art, instead, we get Darth Vader. Even the cover art for the prequel trilogy set is depressing ... almost looks like "puke".

Also, shouldn't that be Luke Skywalker in the foreground of the "Saga" box art with Anakin "ghosted" out?

I love the holiday special..but you have to have to have seen it on TV when it came out to remember it...to have that part in your heart for it. If you see it today it's totally different...if you saw it as a kid, like me and saw it when it ran..it was like watching the superbowl...or the moon landing..it was HUGE!!!

so it has a place in my heart...I think it was good..I have a pirated VHS tape that I once got at the comic con. it looks awful. but I love the Khasshyk part where we see it for the first time and get to see chewies family..that was great!

I know what you mean...but I only add real people and close people. I only have like 90 friends on facebook and I know like 40% of them in real life..so its ok...you have to think of it like a communication device...when you start adding people that you never even met or talked to before, that's when it gets crazy..

Showing Anakin as the innocent young boy..works for me...I have a soft heart I guess. I think it's because I feel bad for the child in me and relate to the young anakin.

OK, so I logged onto the "May 4th" part of the SW website, and caught a few glimpses of the separate trilogy packs...not very impressed at all, with either of them. In truth, I'm pretty sure I could do a better job myself, given enough time to mess around in Photoshop.

I hope the prequal and original trilogy are housed in the saga set (ie: the saga coverart is a slipcover for the two sets together).
That would be nice!

Yeah, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give that about a 4. Its far too crowded to begin with, the image they used of Vader sucks, and you can't even tell what most of the individual shots are. In all honesty, i really expected a better job from Lucas' promotional department.

All right those covers REALLY piss me off. I mean... how could they leave out BEN QUADINAROS!? I would much prefer we had a giant close up of Ben's head over Yoda's on the prequel cover art. That would've made more sense.

Hopefully the packaging for Star Wars won't be like that of the Alien Quadrilogy I had a fit when I had to pull the disks over the crappy cardboard cutouts, you should not have to worry about scratching the disks to watch them.
