That is one of the many cut scenes I am most looking forward to on the blu-ray release.
Meh, you mean the wampas behind the door? with C3PO? those aren't that interesting in my opinion..but yeah, I'd like to see them for sure..

for me the most important deleted scene in the OT is the toshe station. Biggs and Luke talk. I know it's been online and stuff in the past...but It should have been in the film. Also the desert storm at the beginning of ROTJ.

I believe he was talking about the deleted scenes of the Wampas attacking Tauntauns and killing them and the Rebels fighting the Wampas and eventually trapping them in that room that C3PO eventually leads the Stormtroops into later in the Hoth battle. There were a lot of scenes that were cut from Hoth in order to make the movie flow more smoothly. I have seen pictures of the dead Tauntauns with the Rebels standing around them before so I know those scenes were shot and should be really interesting to see finally. I am really looking forward to seeing these scenes as well.

I don't think it's about what you want or what I want or what they want, but about what Lucas wants.

I have heard story's over the years that the wampa scene's was never completed because they could get the costume to work right. And from the stills I saw in the making of empire strikes back book the 1st wampa costumes did not look very good it was not until later in the production ILM was able to created a tiny hand puppet with 2 shots with just the head and then in 97 for the special edition they where able to create a better realistic looking wampa in the scenes in the cave.

Ok then. How about more E.T's and Wookies in the special editions? And more of the senate scenes in TPM?

And yet, the circle begins all over again, with the "bashers" and "non-bashers" railing against each other.

Well, I'm not basher. I'm gonna buy The Complete Saga (it's gonna be my first and last Star Wars set), I like prequel (especially EII and EIII) and love OT.

But I'm not blind, I see what George is doing, that's all.

All right I am sorry I angered star wars fans please forgive me. But I can't stand it when fans bash GL and the prequels it's that not hard to understand. I am a star wars fan and don't bash GL and the prequel films like some fans do.

There's outright bashing and there's reasoned criticism. You (and others like you) don't seem to be able to recognise that distinction.

I love Star Wars, see, but I'm not blind to its faults. That said, I don't like the Red Letter Media reviews either.

Releasing a $200+ set in this economy would be suicide. So that would be a foolish option.

Since releasing every cut in the boxset would increasing the number of discs, increasing the cost, and so on.
