Those two articles are incredibly damaging for consumer perception of bluray and what it's all about. It absolutely makes me cringe when I read articles by people who have no idea what film is.

I digibook would be like Dirty Harry, Batman, The Shawshank Redemption, etc.

These have 20-30 paper pages of info and a disc tray at the back.

This set (as well as the Alien Anthology) is would just be several cardboard pages. 5 would be required to hold all of the discs and maybe a couple sides would be used for pictures.

Completely different from a digibook.

I have a quistion for everyone. Will you be buying the complete set. Or will you buy the sequal and the original set and have the two hard bd cases instead of the cardboard style of the complete et.

Right now I plan on just getting the Complete Saga set, but if I see the other two on sale some time later I wouldn't put it past me to buy them too.

I'd prefer the blue cases over the cardboard book (the Alien set scuffed 2 of my discs ), but I'd prefer to have all the bonus content even more, therefore I'm getting the complete saga.

Why pre-order? Just walk into a store and buy it on release day...

You dont get the extra disks that way though by not getting the complete set.

What are the odds that this release will be regionfree? I´d really like to import the US version instead of buying the german BD Box.

Pretty good, but not certain. Fox generally makes catalog titles region free, but it's not terribly consistent.

What are the chances the UK gets a Gatefold design. Just like the Alien Anthology. In my opinion I would much rarther that to the one in the picture.

(1)I will buy the complete set but probably download and print the cover art so I can have my collection "uniform" or buy the individual trilogies at a discounted price.... (2) every pre-order I have had from amazon has arrived monday evening (day before the release), so I don't see why you wouldn't preorder from Amazon

Do you use Prime or some other expedited shipping option? They used to be pretty prompt with Super Saver shipping on preorders (even shipping on Mon at times) but they appear to have wised up and have held back a day or three on my last several preorders.

If the US design is the same as the US Alien Anthology set which wasn't replicated for the UK release I'd say the chances are quite high that we'll get a Digipak vs. the book style.

The Kubrick set turned out to be just a thick Amaray (with a slipcase) in the UK when the US had the book style but that was a Warners release.

I was glad to get the Alien anthology before it was changed to a thick amaray case. I really do like gatefold sets. It makes it more unique thand an everyday blue amara.
