Thats the first time I've seen the packaging and prefer the Uk one as I'm fussy when it comes to my discs getting fingerprints and scratches on them and the US packaging could be a pain for this. Looking at the Uk this looks similar to the Alien packaging

personally i prefer then UK set ,esp the disc art..but will probably buy the US release and sort out my own covers etc for them..only because im too cheap to get it from the UK...

I here ya, I actually prefer the US disc art compared to the UK, but I prefer the UK packaging. I will probably buy some nice BD cases and look for some custom covers on here to satisfy me we will have to see how good the cardboard packaging actually is, Sept 16 cannot come soon enough!

One thing I noticed at work today on the back of the Pre-Order slip.

Whether or not it's the actual Australian version or not, but I noticed it had the UK packaging with the US Disc art.

The US set is currently $89.99. The UK set (including shipping to the US) for me is $95.83.

Funny you should ask that, I was just there yesterday and asked if they had something special in store for this release, so the salesperson called his manager and they said yes, something big is in store on release day but they could not tell me what, now I do not know if this means some bonus goodies like the LOTR release, or a mid night opening, or both, but we will find out soon.

I think it would be cool to see a price drop like we saw on the LOTR EE Set, what was it like $20? I believe it was going to be $89.99 all the way to a few days prior to release and then dropped $20, now that was nice.

I preordered mine from Amazon with 2-day free shipping using Amazon Prime. Since then I cancelled Prime. Anyone think I'll still get the benefit of free 2-day shipping since I placed the order when I had Prime?

If not, I guess it'll be a midnight Best Buy party for me (if they're open).

If these are blu ray shots, the good news is the blue tinge has gone from the blockade runner interior and the blacks appear to be 'uncrushed' again. You can even see the stitching on vaders cloak! Impressive, most impressive but no doubt people will still say this isn't the proof we are looking for. You can go about your business now, move along.
