Well he's going to be happy that he does'nt have to wait for a new transfer, unless he does'nt check back in or he will be pissed off knowing that there are two versions floating around and he got the wrong one.

No worries,you were right when you said about a Nov release,that is the case and why amazon and play have it on pre-order,that is a Dutch website link,they obviously have it now.

I am not sure,there well may be some still in stores,you can be guaranteed to get the remastered edition with this version https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Gladiator-Blu-ray/39945/ or any case with a 'pocket blu' logo on the back and of course the new digibook order due out in Nov will be fine.

I honestly don't know what the plans are for the US,it is nice though,I have promised myself no double dipping for packaging but this is tempting.

Keep in mind that Universal doesn't distribute Gladiator in the US (Paramount does), so it's unlikely that we'll get that digibook. I'm mighty tempted to import though...

The digibook looks nice, but why did they put both of the discs inside the front cover instead of splitting them up like they do with all of their other digibooks that have two discs? It's an annoyance that could have been easily avoided.

I bought Gladiator from Target. It says 2010 on the back of the package. My old version said 2009 on it. I noticed the picture looks grainy. Only thing is is the Disc says 2009 on it. It also came with a slipcover that was blue. Did I buy the remastered version? Both the slip and the package say 2010 but the Blu-ray disc says 09. Is it the same with all the Gladiator discs? I hope I bought the one with the pristine transfer.... like I said I noticed grain in the picture. Can someone let me know if I bought the right edition?

Check the top right corner on the back. The new one should have a yellow bar code.
