Because they have no real motivation to get it back out to you fast. They already got your money.

Sent mine in last Monday. Will be interested to hear when the first person gets their's back

Just right now, I received an email from eBay stating I didn't win the remastered version of Gladiator that sold for 31.99. Is that nuts or what?

Best Buy has it for $29.99, but their website has it for $26.99. I took the printout and they price matched it. $26.99 - $25 giftcard that I had. Got it for $1.99 + tax. $1.99 very well invested. The remaster looks spectacular. Very well done.

Yeah there's definitely more than just this site spreading the word. Hopefully it won't be taking too much longer, though. Mailed mine on the 3rd.

(And every time I look at this thread, kick myself for sending my disc in when I could have easily swapped it via best buy (it was still sitting unopened waiting for something or other to happen, or for my finally giving up hope and just saying whatthehell and checking to see what all the fuss was about.) Oh well.)

So is this a new re-master of the film? Not the 2009 version, right? And why is it not on Amazon.com?

Give'em a break. They can only work so fast and they seem to be overwhelmed.

Give it another 3-4 weeks minimum.

Judging from those haircuts that's gotta be about 1988.

Also, I believe the number on the mirror ring of the disc itself should end with R2 anstead of B1.

I took my opened disc back to Walmart without a receipt and they exchanged it for a new copy. They did unwrap the new copy before they gave it to me, but I believe it is the remastered version as it is missing the "2 Disc Set" above the Paramount logo on the case and the # on the mirror band of the disc ends in R2.

Have you ever used eBay or been to an auction? When you're the highest bidder you win the item.

Just calm down and realize its only a forum where people come to get questions answered. As far as the search function, yeah it works but it doesn't always pull up exactly what you're looking for.

Yes, you are... I'm not even sure what your quoting of me proved. Maybe somebody else can tell me because you obviously can't. If anything I think your quote proves that I am for people asking questions and you are for stifling that kind of activity. I already stated that I know your MO and thats fine with me. I was just offering a suggestion so you wouldn't keep on having to type the same sarcastic comments all of the time. It's ok squid I still love you.

I just went to Target and exchanged my copy for the new. I had no receipt and they accepted. Walked in and walked out no hassle. They asked which way I payed and I said cash, don't know if that is a big deal or not.

I make ONE comment to a poster who has reposted the same badgering thing multiple times and I now have an MO? Sheesh.

I am trying to figure out the whole Nazi thing. Wouldnt that be a control issue thing? Hmmmm. Didnt you quote me when I was addressing someone else, and not you? Didnt you jump into a conversation between myself and someone else in an effort to "fix" my posting behavior?

I guess you are the "Legitimate Thread Police" and I am a Nazi.

Don't play dumb squidward. I have been reading these threads for years and you are always getting sarcastic with people. It's not rocket science. As far as jumping into a conversation, yeah I am guilty as charged. IMO people who always jump on every poster for asking a question that was asked previously need to be called out every once in a while. They're worse than a person who is honestly trying to get a question answered. I am not trying to police anything and I think anyone who engages in such behavior is a coward. . I'm not trying to stifle your thoughts or change your opinion as has been stated before pretty clearly. Just merely point out that if you get tired of always telling people to "use the search tool" maybe you should just not read the thread for a while. Thats all.
