I wish they would release the movie in May ,same as all the other episodes.
Lucky Italians they gonna see ep.VII on Dec.16 not the 18th

I hope Ray(Daisy Ridley) will be Han & Leia's daughter and I don't think Luke has any kid.
Why would he make any children,it would be to risky for a Jedi who just destroyed the Empire.I think Luke is living on a remote planet same as Yoda did.
Finn(John Boyega) is more likely will be Lando Carlissian son than Luke's.
Anyway ,I can't wait to see this movie.

Boyega will be a new Jedi, he is one of the main leads. From the
[Show spoiler]rumors he's supposed to have no relations to any of the original characters, he's one of the new Force sensitive character from the awakening. Oscar is is a hot shot pilot and will have character comparable to Han Solo. Adam Driver is most possibly be Kylo, Lupita's character is still unknown. Domnhall is said to be an imperial general. Oscar gonna be the love interest for Daisy, while Boyega with Lupita.

But in one of the images from the celebrations Boyega seems to be carrying Luke's lightsaber though.

If it hasn't been mentioned yet, it appears Luke's new hand was holding JJ's note:

It gets less and less kiddy as it progresses (hell, the last three seasons sometimes are even too dark), writing gets better, characters get better.
The plots get better but you still get a few boring ones here and there.
Have you watched the introductory movie?

No, just the first handful of episodes on Netflix. Is there a later episode you would suggest I try where the continuity wouldn't be baffling?

Some of the episodes, take place before the movie and it's quite hard to know where you are sometimes. I'd suggest enduring the movie and the first season, but things do become more sophisticated. Once you get into the tone, the animation is spectacular and the plot-lines are excellent.

He revealed that he re-recorded the lines from ROTJ just for the 2. teaser, and that J.J. told him he used the original lines as the main voice over, and the newly recorded ones as an echo.

Those lines won't be heard in the movie proper.
Sort of the reason there's an echo is because he kept messing up the lines so its a combination of both ROTJ footage and new recordings. Hamill apparently had a hard time just saying the lines lol.

Later on they become very interconnected (even with early episodes) and the anacronic order doesn't help.
I suggest to endure the movie and the first one/two seasons too.

Are they doing the original trilogy or the prequels style of sword fight? What do you guys think?

Rebels is even worse than Clones. I'm right there with you on the CG shows: many of the people here were raised on it as kids, so it's just Star Wars to them. I can't get into it, and I've tried many times. The character design is bad enough, with its generic, plastic, big-eyed doll look, but the animation is so library and script driven, with characters repeating identical walk cycle loops over and over again, making it look cheap and soulless. Even ignoring all that, the stories just repeat bits of the movies over and over again. It's not for me.

Consider that we were gonna get it in January originally because some italian comedy had to come out in at least a thousand theatres.
Let's just say that the italian fandom started to turn in a Chtulhu-like monstruosity.
But of course they didn't retrace their steps because of that.
The comedy was pushed back because of a documentary on the pope (I forget which one) had to come out at Christmas and considering that Italians aren't exactly the kind of people who would miss Star Wars for that they pushed it forward to the 16th of December.
Yes: Italian distributors are weird, thanks for noticing.

The show is all over the place, timeline wise. When I first started watching the show after having seen the CW movie a year or two earlier and they went to Cristophsis (the crystal planet), I was like "huh?". But when I settled into it and realised that the fractured time-lines were by design (almost like prequels within a prequel) I just went with the flow and enjoyed it a lot more. It's damned dark for a kiddie show, although be warned that there is some Jar Jar too, just in case people were missing his "hilarious" bumbling.

To be perfectly honest, if you can't stand S1 then I'd just start at S6, the "Lost Missions". The animation's better and there's not much there that relies on previous CW eps and - stop me if you've heard this already - it fills in a TON of unanswered questions, not just between Clones and Sith but for the prequel trilogy as a whole and even the OT to some extent (like force ghosts).

I actually bought the Lost Missions set because there was a lot of buzz about it, and if that animation's "better" then there really is nothing there for me. I got as far as the "defective clone" episodes.

Some people love The Clone Wars, and some don't. I can understand that. I'd say if you're on the fence, don't start with the Lost Episodes. Some of those arcs aren't that gripping, even as a fan. I'd say start with Seasons 3-5, and if you enjoy it, go back to 1 and 2, then the Lost Episodes. I got over my apprehensions about the animation style and really grew to appreciate the characters, but then again, I did that when I blind bought the first season. So, like I said, it just isn't for everyone. But definitely give those later three seasons a try. Go to the episode lists, and choose the arcs that look the most interesting. There are many film-like, visually stimulating arcs throughout this series. I keep saying arcs because that's another great thing about the series. It takes its time with development.
