I do have to say that I didn't give any thought to the accents, it's a big galaxy after all and it's doubtful that they would all have the same accent. It's not like the USA has a consistent accent....

Sounds like they made the "Retro C" lenses using some parts from the B and T series, but used Primos were they wanted a "harder" look.

As a sidenote, someone needs to fix IMDB's "4K" spec on this thing. It was blur city after the Laser IMAX promo, no way this is 4K.

All I've got to say is thank goodness they decided to shoot with the lenses and cameras that they did with the right talent. Visually this is the third best looking SW film after Empire and the original film.

About that scene, I have to award it the most cheesy scene of all time!

[Show spoiler] He's fighting Rey then all of the sudden, he offers her a service: Do you need a trainer?! I can be your trainer?!

The writer really pushed the cheese out of cheesy here...

It really doesn't - it makes perfect sense within the context of the story and has plenty of precedent in Star Wars mythology. Maybe that beat could've been written and delivered a touch better but "most cheesy of all time"? Just stop.

This was one of several things in the movie that told me the new trilogy was not just going to honor the old but take Star Wars to new places and styles.

The only thing that would have made that scene more badass would be...
