OTOH, this dude missed a perfect opportunity to mention Matt Damon during that reminiscing about that Michael Douglas movie. Jimmy’s nemesis. No 4K movies displayed during the segment, guessing they don’t know about UHD’s and HDR yet. Last edited by gkolb; 04-01-2021 at 04:38 AM. |

With close to 15K posts here, the number of Views is 8,797,955. Minus last month's ending viewership of 8,518,076 = 279,879 for March. Very robust traffic, just over 9,000 a day. Thanks everyone for participating or stopping by for a look/ see. Just to compare popularity, it's worth mentioning that the 4K Movies Releases thread in the 4K movies section has just under 10K posts and almost 13M views, so wow, even though new movies slowed to a crawl in the last 12 months, that thread has a big lead in viewers. It will be getting a lot of activity now that movie theaters are reopening. Kudos to that. ![]() Last edited by gkolb; 04-01-2021 at 04:37 AM. |

hang in there during your lockdown. Let’s see more HDR videos, or perhaps an early review on this player – https://www.homecinema-fr.com/forum/...t30112911.html

And with regards to colorists, starting in a couple minutes (without going on a deep dive into color management – http://learn.foundry.com/error/not-f...kflows-in-nuke )

With regards to the color management link above, I notice after having posted it, it’s blocked. If anyone is interested, PM me for a better link which should work getting thru. Reminder for upcoming interview (interview in B/W, b.t.w.) tomorrow regarding the Dolby Vision HDR for Mank - https://register.gotowebinar.com/reg...53585210754062 |

Peter Rabbit 2, pushed back, I think 7 times. Now competes on 4th of July weekend with a Dolby Vision movie which I hear’s about flying fighter attack jets and such? Movie theaters could be busy.

Me too; Steve McQueen is charismatic. It was Chuck Norris who trained him in the martial arts...thanks Chuck. And Steve is a good rider (motorcycle), like Keanu Reeves (Canadian).
...The Blob, Bullitt, The Great Escape, The Magnificent Seven, ... Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee also trained together. ...James Coburn and Roman Polanski were under Bruce Lee's tutelage for a short while. "Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris (born March 10, 1940) is an American martial artist, actor, film producer, and screenwriter. After serving in the United States Air Force, Norris won many martial arts championships and later founded his own discipline Chun Kuk Do. Norris is a black belt in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu jitsu and judo. Shortly after, in Hollywood, Norris trained celebrities in martial arts. Norris went on to appear in a minor role in the spy film The Wrecking Crew (1969). Friend and fellow actor Bruce Lee invited him to play one of the main villains in Way of the Dragon (1972). While Norris continued acting, friend and student Steve McQueen suggested to him that he take it seriously. Norris took the starring role in the action film Breaker! Breaker! (1977), which turned a profit. His second lead Good Guys Wear Black (1978) became a hit, and Norris became a popular action film star." |
