I am in Canada and there are no Barnes & Noble's here. Do their July sale include Flicker Alley or just Criterion? The FA titles are crazy expensive here.

As far as I can recall, Flicker Alley titles aren't usually included. FA releases rarely seem to go on sale. Your best bet would be to wait for Deep Discount to have a 15% off sale, and get it from them (they ship worldwide).

Would have got this just for the Web if it wasn't already released last year.

Was excited to hear a commentary, but the commentator had almost nothing interesting to say about the film (even though he spoke a mile a minute). At one point he just talks about Ida Lupino for about 5 minutes. What she had to do with the Web, I haven't a clue. Maybe just the Edmund O'Brien/Hitch-Hiker connection...

Are you referring to the Jason Ney commentary on the Kino release? I have that one, but haven't listened to it. I don't believe I've heard a Ney commentary yet, so I'm not familiar with his work. The Indicator release of The Web includes a commentary by David Del Valle, who hasn't left much of an impression on me, but...it might be worth checking out if you're a big fan of the film, I suppose.

I have relatives and friends in USA so I can have shipped to them. I will look at the Deep Discount site too.

Thanks for this. Does this work on all Eureka titles? I have a multi-region Panasonic player but I am just curious as I prefer my Oppo, which is not region-free unfortuately.
