Well, you guys convinced me. I sent an email to SA cancelling my add-on request. I'll just have to "play the long game", as someone here suggested, and wait Amz.UK out. I can't track their price history like I can in the US with Camel, but I'm sure it'll be lower than £19.99 at some point ...

Looks at Caps A Holic the difference between the two is miniscule and likely they would look the same in motion.

I would go with whichever is cheaper, has extras if you care for them, or which company you wish to support.

We should all send Lionsgate emails and demand them to reissue Deader.

I'm so sick of having an empty space between Hellseeker and Hellworld.

Deader actually did get a wide release, but it wasn't for very long. Right when Miramax announced that they weren't renewing their deal with Echo Bridge, Fry's had every single title on clearance for $5 each. That is when I snatched up Deader and a bunch of other titles.

It would be great if someone could rerelease a bunch of those Miramax films on Blu-ray quite a few that I missed out on.

I think the Indicators are worth waiting for, really nice booklets, usually more supplements and better encoded movies. However my statement about the Indicator being available was in response to the idea of Last Detail selling out. If it is available for roughly the same price then it comes down to how much you care about the small improvements Indicator made.

I have some Twilight Time releases I didn't bother upgrading to imports like Remo Williams and Zardoz.

It's what I meant earlier when I wrote it was not disturbing in motion because the difference is very thin
But I realized that all the TT releases have the same "lighter" grain structure comparing to their UK counterparts (from Arrow, Eureka, Indicator etc)... it's very strange.

However, in this case, the UK disc also has the best extras, plus it's usually 15.99£ ( http://www.powerhousefilms.co.uk/pro...ast-detail-dfe ) and it's often cheaper on Amazon so, for people who don't own it already, it's a no brainer to me.

Looks like the Anchor Bay Blu-ray of Freaked is out of print and going for an insane amount on Amazon.

Good grief, $200 for a new copy, and $80 for a used one.

I'm surprised it took that long for Freaked. I'm also surprised that Ford Fairlane and Dutch haven't shot up yet, but I do have a tendency to overestimate Ed O'Neill's impact on the Blu-ray market.

Freaked needs a new blu-ray that carries over the bonus features on the old DVD set.

Maybe this looks like a job for Arrow or Eureka.

I did look before posting and didn't see it. Even searched the page for the word Project. I'm not new around here...

And the alternate European cut of the film which wasn't released on the US DVD.

Default Pet Sematary (1980)

It looks like this version of Pet Sematary (1980) is out of print, but a new version is available.

Technically the issue will be the same disc content, just with different cover and maybe new disc art.

This old cover has 2 releases, the original from Paramount, and the one from Warner Brothers with the new UPC number and UPC box on back. Oh yeah, and an impossible to find slipcover for the very early copies (depending where you live, I've never seen one in a store and did see this title on release day here).
