Same for me! Been kicking myself for years because I saw about 6 of them at K-Mart in the $5 Halloween bin many moons ago and didn't grab them because I hadn't upgraded any of my Hellraisers from DVD yet and was holding out for a better release than Echo Bridge. Stupid me.

I wasn't even in the blu-ray collecting game when the disc was available, so in my case, it was arriving too late to the party.

I do have the standalone Echo Bridge releases of Hellseeker and Hellworld obtained second hand at affordable prices (as well as the Aussie release of Bloodline, the Japanese release of Inferno, Arrow's US version of the Scarlet Box...and Revelations. Yes, I even own Revelations).

I wouldn't worry about The Last Detail, as the UK Indicator release is supposedly even better than the Twilight Time release.

The Last Detail still shows as available. Your link is for the The Mechanic which has been OOP for some time now. Here's the link for The Last Detail:

You're right, thanks! I was so pissed at missing "Man From Laramie" that I didn't notice the title at the end of the link (I saw a small "detail" in the line and took that as confirmation). Apparently, long ago when I made that link the address copy went wrong. And I just placed a 4-title order last night before missing anything else. Now I'll have to call SA Monday and add "Last Detail before it is gone. Thanks again, pardner, nice catch!

'The Last Detail' is still very much available. Your link is for Bronson's 'The Mechanic' which is no more available. Did you mean to say 'The Mechanic' or 'The Last Detail' ?

Last Detail has a better UK release that's region-free anyway.

Thanks. I took a look. I'm more an "in motion" guy than a cap guy, but the UK BRDC caps looked a little softer and darker (as in crush) than the TT. All of these Sony remasters look different from these two outfits, doesn't seem like they should vary that much. The current SA sale saves about $7.50 over the UK release on Amazon.UK and I missed the uptick justifying that. But again, I don't really trust caps.

The TT one is softer actually. Not the UK one.
The UK one is more precise, stronger with better grain structure and a better encode.
And there are absolutely no difference in contrast/luminosity between both, I assure you

Got really lucky today at a used store, I found the series set of "The Prisoner" for under $30. I was not planning on spending that much in total when I walked in, but there was no way I could resist.

I don't doubt it. I hate caps - partly because I apparently suck at judging things from them.

I understand, believe me. What I can say is that you can't judge anything if you can't compare 2 caps from 2 different discs of the same movie if the caps aren't taken from the exact same time code. It's why caps-a-holic is a lot of help when judging discs from their caps.
http://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&a...=69632&i=2&l=1

But you're right, it's always better to be able to make your own decisions from the actual discs on your own set up.
Unfortunately, as we're not all reviewers who get free discs, it can be very pricy to do so. It's why, most of the time, we only can relate on caps and on actual viewers point of views.

In this case, I happened to have both discs. I sold the TT one when I received the UK one after comparing them on my set up. It's not disturbing in motion 'though... You'd have hard times spotting the differences really. Still one looks better than the other and as I live in Europe the UK one was way cheaper... all the more since the TT one was an easy resale as TT titles almost never lose their value on the market.

Congrats! The Prisoner blu-ray set is one of my most prized blu-rays. Such an amazing series.

Anyone know the reason why Deader has not been reissued? I have it in my film library (as well as the other Hellraiser films), but always been curious about it. I enjoyed that film a lot.

I didn't realize there was one for sale. Oh well, I'll find one someday. Also, I think my memory was clouded....it was Hellseeker that I found a bunch of at K-Mart. Forgot that Deader was that windowed Best Buy exclusive that never went wider.
