Yea the flippers suck and with the hobby expanding it will be harder to get but I've seen some decent prices in EB for prints. Maybe the one to two range above original price. Trades seem to be a way to go. Once I get the Gutted variant if its not really my taste I'd love to apply it to a trade for this is my farm

I've only been doing the "prints" thing for a little while and I am already growing tired of it. LOL

With this new job it kills my ability to get prints

I've only been buying prints I like and prints I can get for cost. Only thing I've bought secondary was the Drive Letterpress (so far...) and that wasn't too bad. Some prints I refuse to pay mark up for, like things I had a chance at and missed out on for any reason (examples are Stouts Django, Englerts Blackwater). I haven't been in the print 'game' for long but I know if I want any of the older 'rarer' stuff I will have to put my wallet on the line.

Will anything now a days become as rare as say...Stouts Lebowski, Thing, Star Wars trilogy? I doubt it. Stouts Django has peaked and will only go down in price, there's so many out there in flippers hands. I've got a set price on how much I'll pay, and that's that. I haven't had much luck on EB yet, but then again I haven't had a problem getting a print I wanted until now

I just got into it last year when I found out about all the Avengers prints running through Mondo. Then I started watching things and learning more, but didn't REALLY get into it untill Game of Thrones drops this year. Yet seeing how this all works and that a percentage is going to flippers I'm kinda losing heart to continue on. I do 1000x with movie posters even the 500 run and under theatrical posters I can get, but this craziness is just that. In all honesty I'm only after things that I would display and keep displayed- I'm not looking to fill a flat file or anything. So I'm gonna try and take this slow and cautious if I DO continue to chase screen prints.

Yea I NEED to go to Walmart and get a few more of those so I can display my posters better and store some flat.

I got more prints then I do frames. And since these ones are different from movie posters I want to do it right with matting and acid free backboard. I'm hoping nothing is dropping that I like in the next month so I can save up for the frames I need.

Jocks Ironman 3 poster for midnight release looks amazing. I won't be attending but I wonder how cheap those will be going for.

Only thing slightly odd about that new Thor poster is that generally a studio will put out a teaser(s) for bigger releases without the credits on it, however this image if it does appear to be a poster, looks more like an International style with the "In Cinemas Soon", something Paramount did for The Avengers International Final style, so they may only release one poster for the international market, or this could be the first international teaser with credits. Domestically I think we will see an advance style soon as well.

More than likely they will be up on eBay for around $10-$20. They won't be "poster-sized" but probably more in line with the traditional IMAX midnight release prints, which are around the 12x18 or 16x20 size I think.

I aliminate them at the library so they won't get torn up due to small frames are really high. They sometime have slight bubblese were they did it but for most now of them i think breaking dawn only one that slight bubble spot.

Not going but will be watching. I've seen little sneak peeks of some work but not an actual list of anything guaranteed to be there. Curious as Bad Robot has such a variety of films to use as influence.

Should be a quiet weekend for posters I hope. The Bad Robot show hasn't appealed to me yet and I'm trying to stand clear of Mike Mitchell's show as that could escalate quickly

Received my Ironman 3 poster today. I haven't pulled it out of the tube yet, but just looking at the edges I can tell it won't be pretty.

Was that a DMR Iron Man 3 poster.....if it's damaged, I am not surprised, as I have said before, they don't package up their posters with "collectors" in mind, the package them quickly with little to no care how they end up. If you complain they may send you a replacement but replacements generally are in the same condition too.
