I think between moviegoods.com and movieposters.com, I've found most of what I want (Halloween, Nightmare on Elm St, Suspiria, The Beyond, a few others) but I just can't seem to find a 27x40 Friday the 13th that I like anywhere.

Ok, my poster friends... I need a cheap frame that is 50cmx70cm here in America. What's my most inexpensive option? I know it will have to be a custom frame. I don't necessarily need the print "framed", but wanted to see what you guys' thoughts are.

Just scored Paul Shipper's Star Trek Origins print from the Geek Art store. I got #1 / 20. Awesome. Got crushed on currency conversion to Euro, though.

Did you mean Movieposters.com or movieposter.com? Are you looking for originals or reprints? Movieposter.com deals with both, MovieGoods you may want to avoid, even their reprints I have heard are of very poor quality.

Finally getting one of my Manev Noir pieces framed. Was dtruggling to find what I wanted but ended up doing just a simple frame no matte. The frame is a silver brush looking type that's thin. Has some texture to it and is kinda matte looking no gloss or shine to it. Hopefully looks good as I'll frame his entire set that way.

In the meantime there hasn't been any prints that have me saying I need that.

I think that is new... movieposters.com used to be a different website as far as I recall. I'm either getting old and loosing my memory or movieposter.com has acquired the domain movieposters.com

I am currently down in southern CA, just picked up a various amount of posters, now comes the task of packaging them up to survive the flight or perhaps will ship back to me.

For those who are curious I am also picking up the advance teaser for "Wolverine" tomorrow in limited quantities, so if anyone has any questions about it, send me a PM directly. I have been told they are single-sided, but the studio printed them on thicker glossy paper, and my contact mentioned they remind him of the paper stock Disney used on the final style for the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie poster. I know this teaser has been quite difficult for dealers to get, I think MoviePoster.com has double-sided for rather expensive, but unsure if theirs are glossy. Only single-sided are available to me so I am happy with whatever I can since it appears no one has them. There has been talk of this style poster being printed on rice paper, but I am unsure if that is the case. Perhaps if someone that already has one can chime in. I can't imagine Fox would print a poster on actual rice paper since that is very delicate and can easily tear, but perhaps it is supposed to have a rice paper "look" to them. But being told they are thicker paper, possibly a matte-style paper with a glossy UV shine is intriguing.

It's made to look like rice paper and the front picture of Logan/Wolverine is glossy. It's nicely textured.

Thanks, yeah I figured it was designed to look like rice paper rather than being printed on actual rice paper. I am only getting in a limited amount but will be initially offering a small amount at an affordable price to my customers, etc.

Picked up the Wolverine teasers, they are quite nice in-person, Fox did a nice job on the poster, thicker glossy stock paper really makes the image look crisp and stands out.
