Thinking about getting the final poster, but not sure. It doesn't really look that special.

Though I've had terrible luck with ordering posters from DMR. I only ordered 2 (Ironman3 and Finding Nemo) and both showed up damaged and was sent a damaged replacement as well. They are also too big for my Flat File so they just lay on the ground. Maybe I'll do a giveaway for the folks here in/around June-July when I finish school
I tried to explain to Disney Rewards the proper way to package and ship a poster, but it fell on deaf ears. Remember they think a bunch of kids are going to just tack the posters up on their walls, they don't understand the collectibility of the posters. I was able to get the domestic teaser shield style (advance A) in stock but the second advance and final style have been difficult.

I decided to 'acquire' the additional DMR points I needed so I could get the Frozen Bus Shelter poster before it disappeared, cost me about $10 to do so but I just ordered it. This thing is going to be MASSIVE! I'm excited to see it, but more excited to see the looks on my girls faces when they see it for the first time.

Do you mind sharing how you did that cause my daughter would go nuts if I am able to pull this off! You can send PM as well. THanks.

For those of you with kids, (or those of you who are fans of the series) I have promotional packs for "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" stuff from Fox that I was going to put up for sale. It's all still in the original boxes. PM me for details.

They should be double sided theatrical release posters. I've ordered at least a half dozen from DMR and all were double sided.

Does anyone know where I can find the Drive (Mondo) poster for a good price? Every price I've found online has been ridiculous.

There were several Drive Mondo prints... any in particular?

Stout - Drive Portrait - Two Colours and one on metal
6 month average for Pink - $101.19
6 month average for Blue - $130.38
6 month average for Metal - $555.00

Stout - Drive City Scape - Two Colours and one on metal
6 month average for Pink - $152.39
6 month average for Blue -$141.75
6 month average for Metal - $512.50

Taylor - Drive
6 month average - $240.49

Best place to check for pricing is expressobeans.com and then if you want one check their B&S forum.

None of those prices seem ridiculous to me, especially for the Stout's, though I do prefer the Taylor.

I wasn't aware there are different designs. I only knew of Taylor's design, but now I'm very fond of Stout's. What are the color differences? Just the main color of the design? (probably a stupid question )

Edit: I just answered my own question by looking on Mondo's site. The Stout is the one I would like, preferably in metal, but that price is way over my limit. So probably pink.

In my experience it's the advances that are the rarest (and are often the best design wise since they are starker image wise) International Style B is kinda nice too, though..and it has Cap on it, sooo decision is a bit harder now It's quite a big point difference too, 300 more.

The first advance is the hardest to find from what I have seen, but for those of you who get one from Disney Rewards can you post or let me know if they in fact send you out the domestic or the international versions? Domestic has the release date on them, international just has the year. For the Final style, the international says "In Cinemas Soon" similar to the Avengers international final. I am curious as I think they probably are using international images for domestic posters, probably the person who handles that stuff for the website doesn't realize the difference between the two since the artwork on three internationals is the same as the artwork on the three domestic styles.

I'll tell you if you can find a Stout in the $100 - $150 range I think you're doing pretty well. I've paid a LOT more for a Stout, (Kill Bill Variant) and that one was cheap compared to a number of his other works. I'm also a pretty big fan of Ken Taylors work and in this instance I do prefer his. There were also a couple of other Drive posters not commissioned by Mondo.

James White's comes to mind... I really liked this one:

FYI got one of the posters today in the mail from DMR. The one with everyone on it and it has the date listed 4.4.14 instead of the "coming soon " thats listed. Im guessing the rest will be similar. Will possibly have another tomorrow since they shipped a day apart

Thanks for the update, as I suspected they are shipping the domestic versions but using the international style images, which to someone who doesn't know posters like the people who fulfill the orders is a common mistake.

For those who have framed the 24"x36" mondo posters what size matting and frames did you end up going with?

TIA

I'm looking at the one hanging on the wall in my office and it looks to be about 30x42. When I framed this one though I did go with smaller matting to try and keep the costs down, to do anything more than that I was told was extra because 'oversized' matts were needed. You can check my gallery for the difference. The Jurassic Park is a 'standard' matt and the Iron Man and Leon are 'oversized'.

Thanks for the quick reply. I truly love your room. The beauty lies in the simplistic layout. Its like the room speaks to you. Clear your mind. Sit down and enjoy the movie in it fullest!!!

What screen size and ratio. Hard to gauge at the angle.

Duh I remember you mentioned in a previous thread that you have a 16:9 screen. What I do not recall is the size. Thanks once again.
