Very nice househead i have yet to land a big Stout poster but this would be at the top of my list if i could. I think my big ISO right now is the Struzan Frankenstein which i have a deal worked out on another site to trade for that i hope works out.

Just read that Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo will be at San Diego Comic-Con in July this year. His signature on a Stout Akira would be VERY rare as he doesn't make appearances in the U.S. generally.

Yes i saw that it would be amazing to get his sig on that poster or anything for that matter. I have to say though having the Stout Akira poster would help lol but i have seen it going for a little lower on the aftermarket lately. I'm not sure if you keep up with that particular Akira poster price Kinsella but what would you consider a good deal on a Stout print like that?

Sent you a PM, but take a look at eBay, and you will notice one seller has it for $2499.99 buy it now, but didn't bother to put a "or best offer" link. His has been up for weeks, so he is only hurting himself by not adding that link to his auction, so it will probably go unsold for a long time. Now if someone comes along and buys it for that price, then that would be the highest price sold for the standard, and in the same league as The Thing print, but as I mentioned, The Thing has an entirely different following of fans than Akira does. Sure, there are people like myself who loved them both, but ultimately I would think there are more people wanting The Thing print than there are wanting Akira, but as I touched on before, obtaining an Akira was much more difficult than it was originally obtaining The Thing print.

The other seller on there has it for $2000 or best offer, again too high in my opinion. He has had two offers, not sure what they are, but clearly not enough to get him to sell. Sometimes people don't want to really sell the print but will if the price is right and clearly that's the case. I don't really blame the sellers at all, they want to get as much as possible but realistically they are both high price wise.

There will be more, my guess is there will be two more styles. If they follow the same marketing trend as the previous two Batman films, there will be two more styles, which will either be one more advance and a final, or two final styles as Dark Knight had two advances and two finals. I bet we see the next style around late March or early to mid-April along with another trailer.
