Well I dont think anyone would gripe if you get it to sell to help pay for your trip to SDCC. \

So far it seems two prints have dropped today at SDCC, unless there were variants of them, that would make a total of six prints having dropped since Thursday morning of the 15 planned. There will probably be one more for today and I suspect four on Saturday and four on Sunday.

Doesn't surprise me they did this as I think there actually is a Lord of the Rings Lego game in development but I could be wrong. I think you will see a Struzan piece drop tomorrow.

I doubt they release anything from Struzan so soon after his Thing print although they did recently announce that Drew was coming out of retirement to do a few new posters for Mondo so the possibilities are limitless to what project he could tackle. I would imagine they save any new stuff from him more toward the fall or even the winter when a big movie like The Hobbit gets released. Maybe however i'm just wishful thinking that nothing exclusive to SDCC gets released in regards to Struzan but we all know Mondo is always full of surprises so I guess we'll know for sure first thing tomorrow.

Regarding everything else I'd say so far what Mondo has released at SDCC is good but nothing I feel that I can't live without. I am a big universal monsters fan and the CFTBL is very cool and has a vintage movie poster feel to it but since Ansin has done so many of them I'm still holding out hope they let him get a crack at doing another version of it. The rumors are heavy that they may drop an Olly Moss Dark Knight Rises poster tomorrow sometime since a few other collaboration pieces for Gallery1988 with Daniel Danger had been released at the convention earlier today so I think if anything big gets released tomorrow it will have to do with the dark knight rises.

The rumor I heard was it was/is going to be his classic Gunslinger painting from The Dark Tower series of novels by Stephen King done in a print form like what was done for The Thing recently. I mean think about it, you take an existing painting, you have it screen printed professionally, and you have him sign it, charge $200+ and it will sell-out. The painting has been done for quite some time too. Again, this is all just "rumor" on my part, but I would not be surprised if it's released tomorrow and Struzan there to meet fans. Speculation, I have been know to be wrong in the past.

Also, something I noticed is I believe the image on the IMPAwards site found here: http://www.impawards.com/2012/amazin...rman_ver2.html is not a poster, and perhaps was an early image. I know in some cases a poster image that is released online may change slightly before it is released. This "could" be the case, but the one-sheets I have in stock look like like the one below and it is also the same as the ones in the theaters that I have noticed. Genesis, if you bought one from someone, does your look like mine below, or does it look like the one from the link above?

Well what it could be is an IMAX style, how does the poster look overall? Is the wording clear? Whereabouts did you get it? Is the back non-glossy and slightly faded yet still double-sided?

I think I remember reading that this specific Struzan is/was delayed to 2013.

Went by a hobby lobby today, and I am on board with their ready made frame deals. I think stout avengers will be first up a new frame.

Yeah, the wording is very clear. Got it from:

Front and back both feel the same and have the same 'glossy' effect. Double sided. The opposite side is clearly faded as the front side has really strong red colours.

The mouth area especially looks more faded where the front side is really dark red like it should be while the opposite side looks like it has a bit of white going through it (I guess that's fading?)

And I just realised the pic in the listing is different to the one I got so I'm thinking I should go for a partial refund.

On another note. Will the cost of DKR posters go up in price when the movie is released? There's an Advance Style B (City) for ~$41 shipped from a real deal reputable dealer on eBay.
