No, not yet. More than likely next week. Best advice I can give you is go to the Mondo site, and create an account and then sign up for their newsletter so you will get an email notification a day or two in advance when the on sale date is to happen for it and other prints.

Over 200 pages for this thread on movie posters and nearly 4100 total postings by a various group of members here, some new, some old, but I think we all deserve a round of applause and thanks for making this a great thread here on on the Blu-ray.com forum area.

As far as I know this poster will only be available at FF in Austin, TX. Whatever doesn't sell there will be put online.

I bought the Kill Bill one by Iaccarino, this gallery constantly commissions some of the best prints I've seen.

I have an account with them as I have been purchasing my poster prints there for the past year. There is a possibility of it being sold there. The problem is buying from mondo is like winning the lottery. The prints sold out in a matter of minutes if not seconds so that F5 really is your only friend aside of course from your credit card.

After that, eBay is the only recourse.

Even your finger pressing F5 won't win that battle, another forum I go to has users running dedicated scripts to get the site updated and posters bought as fast as possible

All they need to do to slow down the script kiddies is to put a captcha in place. I would love to see them do it on a big release and read their reaction as all their scripts bomb. Hilarity would ensue

I'm still trying to 'master' a technique so-to speak It worked no problem on the "What's Opera, Doc?" Variant and I had no doubts on it working for BttF. Unfortunately I was on my phone connection and had no chance. At home the speeds are ridiculous (though the speed won't help unless I can be as fast as humanly possible )

Also I find with the Mondo site is if you get in, you stay in. As long as you keep a steady pace, CC info then a quick confirm shipment. You get one. If you miss that original rush the site locks up, and you're screwed.

This is all my hypothesis of course. I'm still very new to the Limited Paper game compared to most of you here

Well we all have our secrets and techniques, I honestly don't go for that many prints at all anymore, but sometimes I try if it really catches my eye, but no technique is flawless.

Wow that looks AWESOME! I wonder if the movie will be any good though? I haven't really been that impressed with any mondo prints as of late...I kinda feel like they are just pushing way too much stuff out, but this looks really good.

Has anyone tried to print Posters at the same standard as most shops?
I do not know much about this though?

Is something very special needed apart from a large printer?

You need a VERY large detailed digital image to print at anything near 24x36. Think 20+MB for a picture with any detail. I ideally you'd have a vector image to work with allowing you to print to any size... this of course assume you've got the legal right to even print what you are trying to print.

How much money would something like this be?
And do you need legal rights for home use? People print off images from the internet all the time?

Assuming you have a lot of money to maintain ink and paper

I'm not sure what country you're in, but I am pretty sure in Canada, printing/duplicating/copying of intellectual property regardless of whether it is for personal use or not is 'illegal' somewhere along the line, if not imoral depending on which side of the fence you sit on I suppose but I'm not here to debate this, just throwing it out there.

I'm not really into printing poster size prints at home or otherwise so I am not help for costs, I prefer to buy the 'real' thing, ideally when the prints are released, otherwise on the aftermarket and if I don't like what they cost I do without... and occasionally whine about it

Sorry if I have overlooked it here but next to his column on Collider.com Scott Wampler has opened up a Twitter account for poster related stuff @LimitedPaper.

Yeah, I mean, as cool as this is, I would never buy a screenprinted poster before I saw the movie.

It looks good though...
