I'll just throw it out there: anybody looking to sell their Mondo Shaun (regular version) for regular price? On the off chance you were at NYCC and bought it not really wanting it...

Don't know anything about the seller other than what is listed, though.

Here is a link to their site. I had them done at Costco. $30 - 40 a poster, but they look perfect, and will for a long time. No worry of tearing or scratching.

Hate to break it to you, but dry-mounting devalues original movie posters, I would not recommend doing it, but everyone is free to do as they wish. If you are dry mounting a reprint vintage poster, that's one thing, since an original vintage movie poster can cost hundreds or thousands (or more) of dollars, but if you having your originals dry mounted, I would seriously rethink it.

A little birdy told me that some of the Shaun of the Dead prints WILL be making their way online. Not sure about the Variants though.

Did anyone manage to snag a Whalen Transformers Variant this morning from AcidfreeGallery? I got both regs thankfully, but I did a ballsy move to try for all 3 right off the bat

I got the two regulars as well and also missed out on the Variant. It was nice to be home for once when these things dropped.

Any refunds on your end? Apparently the regulars oversold as well as the variants. So far no refunds on my end

Will they announce ahead of time when that happens, do you think?

That has certainly bean Mondo's MO, so I assume it will be the case again. I really like the Shaun print, so ill go for one if they do release some online, I'm only interested in the standard.

+1 I like it too!

Nice The Thing too... Cool to see one with a drawing in the margin, I would have liked one of his walking dead prints with the custom zombie portrait like that.

It's by Eric Tan released through Acme Archives back in 2008 and limited to 195 pieces.

I almost went with the zombie sketch but decided not too. Since it isn't obvious to everyone it's a Walking Dead print IMO I didn't want to draw attention to that fact by having a zombie sketch in the corner. Keeps people guessing when they see it plus if they don't figure out what it's based on you get to turn off the lights and when the glow in the dark images appear it becomes more obvious.

It's all part of the game. Same goes for the comic con stuff. I'm not sweating it but the game is so old now.
I don't even try to buy any Mondo stuff cause there are pros been buying this stuff up for years just to resell and make a hustle. I prefer the actual authorized studio movie posters and even some of those are hard to get for example Dredd... And almost anything Fox...

Thank you. It's fun getting your art framed. I've had to space out my framing projects as its rather expensive but it's a great feeling once it's up on your walls. I still have about 5 more Mondo prints lined up but ironically my next purchase is an 80" Sharp LED too.
