![]() On the bright side I don't have to hurt the wallet. But on the down side I wouldn't have the complete Looney Tunes set. Still missing a couple anyway ![]() |

[QUOTE=Hellboy;6840150]My most recent addition.
Halloween variant by Ken Taylor.[QUOTE] Those are nice, did you attend the screening in Los Angeles or did you buy on the secondary market? I know the prices were quite high on them, mainly because they were only available at that screening. |

I really wish I could have attended the screening but thats a little to far to travel for a movie and a poster.

Since you are in Portland, just south of me as I am in Seattle, flights are cheap to Los Angeles, you could have attended the screening, perhaps it would have cost you just under $200 round trip plus the ticket. But I think it was one print per person and to get that variant I think you had to pay initially the meet and greet price which was $500. But for that price you got to meet Carpenter and perhaps have him sign them. But you did good in getting the prints, Halloween has a major cult following.

This is a cool thread...
Just put these up: ![]() ![]() First time ever framing posters. I'm not going to go out of my way or spend more than $20 on one poster, but I'll definitely start buying more now. After years of putting up posters unframed, I can't believe what I've been missing. They are so much more gorgeous framed. |

Just a quick question for you guys. I've been putting pieces of tissue paper in between prints as a temp until I can get some bags in hand. I recently came across some sites about some tissue paper not being acid-free. Is this true? If so would a 'cheap' tissue paper have any damaging affects on a print?

Here's what i use: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KNPLLU
Probably not as cheap as in-store tissue paper, but easy to add on to an order. |

The sheets are 18x24" in size. I picked up 2 packs from the dollar store for a buck. From what I've read it only seems to affect Silk or Wool textiles if using acidic tissue paper for a long period of time, though I wouldn't be too happy if it ruined some of my posters
![]() I use one sheet for all my Whalen/18x24 prints. 2 Sheets for anything larger. |
