Big pick up from the framer today!

Brian Holderman - Slap Shot (from my event in October)

Mark Englert - Det er en Slags Ting (framed it to match my Struzan)

Olly Moss - The Simpsons (metallics in the frame, white matting with black core)

Jock - Shaun of the Dead (triple matting)

Florian Bertmer - Night of the Living Dead

Wow thats an impressive haul. I'd hate to see what the bill was for your framer's work.

I have that Englert and Bertmer myself.

I'm shipping my NotLD to a framer this week thats doing something real unique with it. Should have it back in a month or so.

I almost went with the all white look like you on my Det er en Slags Ting print but instead went with this.

Beautiful work guys, I love these things framed! Also love the sketch in the margin, but I think I've said that before

Yeah... I went with the basic all white to match my Struzan piece, seen here:

You can't tell from the photo, but Mark sketched a wolf on mine...

I won't lie, it was expensive... but my framer cuts me a deal when I purchase in bulk. And bear in mind, I don't get museum glass, just 99% UV, which I feel is more than fine... this was what I treated myself to after my bonus this year.

Awesome photos and framing jobs!

Mark does amazing work. I am still kicking myself for not getting my hands on a BttF AP w/ sketch

EDIT: I did come across a really neat find today though. Star Wars Version D and a Revenge of the Sith Version B movie posters from the 1997 re-release. The Version D was in pretty good condition. The B on the other hand had a big gouge in the middle of the poster, and both corners on the bottom were destroyed

Revenge of the Sith version "B" for the 1997 re-release? Did you hit your head and meant to say Return of the Jedi?

The Special Edition styles were nice, the "A" was the black/gold ingot style that promoted the trilogy, "B" was Star Wars, "C" was Empire (the hardest of the four to find) and "D" was ROTJ. They studio ended up changing the release date for ROTJ so some theaters were sent stickers to place on the "A" style over the release date for ROTJ and I believe they made a small amount of corrected ones for it, and I think they had a "Version E" at the bottom if memory serves me correctly. I had all of them available back in the day, but I think I have a few of the "B" Star Wars one left and I believe a "C" Empire one.

I did mean Return of the Jedi, sorry!

They were nice. It was my first time in this local shop so I was surprised to see them in there. It's just a shame they weren't handled better

Sounds like they probably got them from a local theater, so many dealers resported to that for the special editions and the earlier prequel titles because FOX had a stranglehold on them. That and you were buying from the wrong place.

Olly just tweeted this out:

If the price isn't crazy I may go for the variant.

Haha I know. I was just browsing and had stumbled across them. I know who to go to when I need minty-fresh posters

Those LotR Olly Moss prints are awesome! It's going to be $50 for the regular (edition of 580), $90 for the variant (edition of 285).

Didn't Olly say he liked to keep his prints limited to only around 200 or so? 580 standards and 285 variants is a ton of prints so it should be pretty easy for people to get at least the standard. Nice looking prints as always.

Both Moss LOTR prints will be gone in a blink of an eye. Frankly I'm not getting my hopes up for either. I think I prefer the variant just a bit more but to be honest I'd be satisfied with just acquiring one at retail. Secondary market prices are sure to be ridiculous.

I don't know. When the bride of Frankenstein hit it had similar numbers for the standard and it pretty much crashed mondos servers. People are so geared up for anything mondo and when you add moss to the mix

Realizing that most of you are trying to snag one for yourselves... if anyone is willing to try and snag a regular for me, I will more than make it up to you.

I'll give it a whirl... I am in Canada so reverse shipping may cost a little more. No mark-up either if I score one for a blu-ray.com>Posters thread member!
