But the question is.....are they done for the night? Perhaps Mondo has a few more prints to release, but perhaps not. For those trying for prints, it may not be a bad idea just in case to keep their site up for the next 30 minutes or so. Not saying I have any insider info, but just better to be safe than sorry never hurts.

A lot, but then again, they probably pay a healthy amount in licensing fees.

The only one that impressed me was the Jock ZD30 variant with the soldiers spelling out the title which is pretty creative. I may eventually track that one down on the aftermarket where the prices shouldn't be that brutal like the Stout. Speaking of the Stout, it looks kind of odd to me with the right arm of Django coming out of Schultz and the ultra red horse in the regular. I'm waiting for the Drive but I seem to be cursed on Stout drops and have zero luck with any of them so maybe that is a sign I should stay away from Stout prints lol.

Agreed, I had the Zero Dark 30 variant carted and on the 3rd step of order processing but backed off. I'm really gun shy these days. Not surprisingly the Stout's Django's are fetching a good price on ebay already, averaging $265 on completed auctions for the standard. At least that is for the 8 sold that show up for me.

I'm sure I'll enter his lotto for one.

Very true. I'm sure they pay a lot for licensing but the amount of sales in just minutes is pretty amazing. I think for the combined reg/var Stout was ~$73,000.

I do often wonder what their margin's are. They've got to pay the printer, the licensing fees, the artist, the staff to manage the website and do the shipping, the hosting fees. Then they have a small retail space as well I believe, so not a ton of overhead, but still those things do all add up.

It still has to be profitable, I can't imagine it not being and if it wasn't I honestly think they could up their prices by 25% or more on a lot of their artists and still walk away looking like hero's.

It is a pretty cool niche business.

+1 Kelly Django
+1 Whalen Wreck-it Ralph
+1 Jay Ryan Moonrise Kingdom
+1 Moss Les Miserables
+1 Stout Django

Expensive, but well worth it... odds are I'll keep the Kelly over the Stout (even though this is my first Stout).

I picked up:

BRAVE (I'll keep)
Wreck It Ralph (regular and variant) - I'll probably get rid of one of them. Have to see them in person.
Zero Dark Thirty (regular and variant) - I'm not sure why I bought these. Guess I got excited in the moment. Hopefully, they appreciate in value.

I am certain I would have had a DJANGO standard (since I was able to get both in my cart), but after shipping calculation, the variant sold out and broke my cart. FAIL.

I'm hoping to get my hands on a Django Variant sometime in the near future. Though I do have 2-3 other Stouts on my Wanted list that will probably take priority since I missed out on this one direct from Mondo

The way I see it is, the more I don't buy from Mondo, the more money goes towards my Star Wars Stout set

Or you can simply not support MG altogether since 99.9% of their stuff is garbage.

Mondos next show looks like it's going to be a good one. All Game of Thrones?

Showcard is here, done by Mike Mitchell.

I wouldn't be surprised if you saw a Struzan piece pop up too for it.

Mind Blown!

I heard Horkey might be doing a piece for this show as well. Thankfully some of them are going to make their way online. They said they will be releasing one or two a week up until the Season 3 premiere.

One of your advantages if you order any (and get it in time) is having them signed at Calgary Fan Expo in late April. If they manage to get them shipped out in time that is.

Last night was crazy. I went to sleep after the moss dropped thinking there would not be much more after that because last year there was not as many, but when I woke up this morning I was very surprised. Although the only other one I would have went after would have been the Jock print. If anyone has buyers remorse and wants to get rid of one for cost plus shipping let me know.

Adam_WM mentioned a couple posts up he snagged both in the heat of the moment and might consider selling one.

I wouldn't mind a Django Variant if anyone has buyers remorse

I can't believe the prices they are going for right now as ebay is flooded with them.
