Is there a chance that Elizabeth poster they have that you want is an original? Sure there is, and it probably is because that film came out at a time when I feel they were still dealing with originals and reproductions. But the majority of the stuff they have is basically stuff they are having printed, many believe without a license, simply pulling images from the movie poster database website and using those as a reference to print posters up, including foreign styles. The average to new collectors have no idea and just buy it without realizing what they are buying. Some people can't figure out there is a difference between originals and the stuff you see sold at Walmart, etc. There are a large number of people out there who probably do think they have an original, especially those who bought the Joker "Why So Serious?" Dark Knight second teaser poster. Double-sided fakes and poorly made reprints were being pumped out onto the market soon after he died to capitalize on it. Most dealers who had originals sold out, the demand was huge, but those dealers who planned ahead had them for their customers and some still do, like myself. They do it...because they get away with it until a studio comes after them, and they have been sued in the past by Disney, etc, just Google search it online and you can find the info. If they have a return policy on the poster you want, then order it and if you aren't pleased send it back, but before you buy, ask if they can take actual images of the poster in question so you can verify ahead of time what "good" condition really is. |

Looks really nice! That Game of Thrones print by JC Richards is quite nice, I need to find the time to watch that show, I have the Blu-ray sets for both seasons but haven't watched them yet as I don't get HBO, in fact I don't even get cable, not a big television watcher at all.

When you do find the time for GoT, make sure you allow yourself enough time to finish both seasons, you won't want to stop after just 1. It's a binge watch for sure. From the budget to the talent, it's like watching my favorite movie every week, for 10 weeks. (or in your case 10 hours if possible lol) |

As for the mondo prints. The JC one is the only other one I've liked besides the Zouravliov print so far. ![]() |

High folks! [waves]
I'm redoing a display room in my house which is in an attic apartment area that was finished in the 40's. The ceiling is about 3 feet wide and then slopes down around 5 feet and then becomes a wall. For years, I had posters just tacked up on the slopes, but I'd like to frame them. So...THE POINT: Do you guys have any tricks for hanging framed posters on a slope? Thanks folks. ~LD |

![]() Humm I'm pretty sure some will have better answers than me. Only thing I can think of is tons of hardware as in nails and hooks. I'd use frames (mainly metal) that have groves in the back of them. I have one I bought from Ikea that has the area behind it where the hook hardware mounts into the frame (groves) and is changable. There are names for this I'm sure just can't recall at the moment. I'd have to post a picture for you. But for starters hardware, unless you have room to mount them on the non slope walls. Are you using wood frames? Personally I love me some French cleat!
[rimshot] I have all of my valuable stuff framed that way. If you have a wood frame you could use one at the top AND bottom of the frame. Just put it up on the wall and slide it down into place on both cleats. These things are the greatest. You can get them at Home Depot, Hobby Lobby (w/ 40% coupon), Lowes, etc. Different sizes and even a built in level. http://www.hangmanstore.com/Hangman-...nger-p/alh.htm |

For double sided posters, I really like the Shiny black ones that you can get from Michaels (totally forget what they are called). I'm definitely going to look into that. |

I don't have a picture of my own at home because it is just put up in a simple frame but my favorite poster that I ever bought was the original Star Trek movie halfsheet.
http://www.sci-fimovieposters.co.uk/...vie-poster.htm I always liked the design and it was just a little different style which I loved. plus I got it real cheap on ebay - lost the bidding on the first one but managed to get it the second time around for aroud $35(think frame and all it cost me $50). also have a doublesided Walk the Line release poster. If I get a bigger place to live and am feeling daring, I might build a light box for it sometime. but that is it for original posters - most times I just end up buying reprints from stores. |

Nice half sheet blond devil. If I'm not mistaken there were two different styles for TMP. An advance and a final (not including non US). Same artwork different wording. That the only Trek movie I have no posters for. Every now and then I'll look for one. I thought about getting the quads for all the movies but haven't started yet.

There won't be any competition from me, as I am passing so good luck folks. Also James White released a few of this "Drive" prints earlier today, they were not numbered though.
