Thanks to the moderator who changed the title of the thread and moved us back out of the subwoofer section where people were probably saying "Who are these poster people?"

7:15am here, getting ready to head up to Vancouver Fan Expo in a few hours, listening to the coverage in Boston that one of the bombers was killed, and they are hunting for the other. Hope they catch him soon.

Good luck to all who try for the AP GOT Englert print today, I will try if I am home, but I may not be.

Default John Carpenter's Autograph Signing....

Next weekend I will be at the Calgary Fan Expo and one of the guests located close to my booth is the legendary John Carpenter. I already have a few things to get signed, but was curious if anyone here wanted me to get them anything signed for their collection? It's obviously too late to have anything mailed to me directly, so the other night at Best Buy, I noticed the had "The Thing" on Blu-ray on sale for $10 plus tax. I picked a few copies up and wanted to see if anyone wanted a copy signed by Carpenter?

The only charges would be the Blu-ray itself, plus whatever Carpenter is charging (some say he charges $30 but I can't confirm yet) and the cost of shipping. This is mainly geared towards those who are big fans of his, and naturally The Thing film. I don't mind doing it, and hopefully would have the time to get this taken care since his booth is close but IF anyone is interested I already bought four copies on Blu-ray, which I can always return to the store if need be.

If you are interested and serious about it, send me a private message with "The Thing Autographed Blu-ray" and I will respond this weekend if possible or on Monday when I get back from Vancouver. I probably would have him sign the outer sleeve paper insert (not the plastic) in gold Sharpie ink.

If nobody is interested, it's all good, but at least wanted to get this out there to everyone. I would offer to get other items signed by other guests since my booth placement is in the celebrity guest area, but unsure where others are located and what they charge, but they do have an impressive guest list.

That's really generous of you Kinsella! I'd like a Carpenter autograph one day, but my preference would be on a Stout Big Trouble in Little China! I wonder if he will be coming to the Toronto Fax Expo in August.

Very cool of you Kinsella.

Got a question for owners of "This is my Farm" is the GID green or lack and white? When i look on ebay, I've found a few different GIDs. Didn't know if they are just taking a picture of the GID in B&W. Trying to figure out which I want to add to my ISO.

OMG! OMG! OMG! Thor poster officially revealed by Marvel. Can't wait to get my hands on this!!! Will have to make an exception for this and buy more than 1.

Looks like a new handle for Mjolnir too. Looking forward to what members over at theRPF produce.

Looks good, if this actually gets printed I hope it ends up on DMR, I'll grab one there for sure.

ENGLERT FAIL. He's too popular now. I had a lot better luck on his BTTF/WALKING DEAD/ALIEN AP drop.

Both are pretty awesome, I have This is my farm, but sold see if you bastards can do ninety. I love his GID work. Not sure how to answer your previous question as I wasn't aware that GID ink could glow any other colour than that green colour, I'm not aware of a black and white glow... maybe that is how it would show up under a black light?

He's probably confusing the THIS IS MY FARM variant set (where the GID image is a 2nd black and white print).

I think I need to stop collecting prints and get into another hobby. I only get pissed off when I don't get something I want and then I get even more mad when I have to pay 3 times the price for it.

Very nice of you to offer this. JC is getting up there in age and I can't imagine him doing these signings much longer.
