I imagine my weekend will be pretty much spending free. I want to buy something next Thursday so unless one of my iso's has a to good to pass up offer I'll spend the weekend doing a walking dead marathon.

I agree looks amazing. There seems to be better pics in the thread then the newsletter HCG sent out. One day I'll buy one metal

That metal piece is really sick! Wish I knew about it earlier.

Only way to heal a lost print wound is to purchase another

Ya they weren't really previewing that one at all. The thread on EB has quite a few pics of others pieces but no Craig. Then all the sudden it was like bam in twitter here you go.

That's how I justified the Jock purchases after losing out on the Iron Man 3. Went above and beyond my limit and now wish I snagged a SOTD one too. Oh well...

Looking into completing my GoT wall I was wondering what were some of your guys top prints for the show? I got the Blackwater one, have my eye on Canus Dirus, possibly the Ansin GoT one, and the Richey Bran Stark. Am I missing any better ones? I'm staying away from portraits so no Mitchels

I like the wall done by JC Richard which is the same style as englert. My top one would be the one done by Jason Edminson of Danerys with the dragons, but you said not portraits so that one is out.

I forgot about that Jc Richard. Added to the list. The Danery one is out of my banking limit. How about Daniel Dangers? Anyone seen that in person?

Canus Dirus is worth the cash, it's nice. I STILL dont have a Bran Stark or Blackwater which I'm looking to get both. The Jock Jon Snow it's nicer in person.
The blue is a really nice touch. I bought that one to trade and I might end up keeping. I did buy Vania's Daenerys which I'm super disappointed with, I bought it to go with the 2012 SDCC Game of Thrones Vania poster which I LOVE and is hanging up now. I did like The Harbinger by Ken Taylor that came out way better than I thought.

I may have a friend who has the JC Richards one for sale, I think he said he wanted to get $150 for it but can't rightly remember.

I've got a Canus Dirus in route. Whenever it arrives it's going up for sale.

Some of these people want Kill Bill Variants and Reservoir Dog Variants for that poster. Screw that! You want my Kill Bill APs you better kill me
Older prints are much more rare, and would never be traded for something so fresh out of Mondo gates. Not to mention Stout is a much better artist than Horkey, IMHO

Also. I really like TWBB, and Moss' didn't do it for me. This Horkey certainly did. If Stout did a TWBB then this would be a completely different discussion.

Also, what was the exact drop time today? 9:08 am PST?

I doubt a Stout TWBB would get close to Horkey's. TWBB and Horkey are a match made in heaven. Agree about Moss's attempt though, didn't really do much for me either, and looking at it again it really really pales in comparison to Horkey's.

I've looked back at the print a couple times and still wish I picked one up. Guess the site was having issues so anyone who went for a variant right off the bat got an error. If you waited a couple minutes to get the link fixed (where they reset the stock) then you were able to cart one.
Certainly not paying 500 for a variant that's for sure. I could get Moss Zelda/Mario and Blackwater for that price. Highest price on the Variant is 800. That's Inglorious Basterd/Django Wood territory. Much bigger/better prints for that same price range IMO. I refuse to pay that much for something that just came out last week, or something I missed out on

I'm not as mad as I was on Friday. I'm usually pretty choked for the first bit when I missed something I really want. But I get over it quick. They're only prints, and there's always going to be more and more. Not to mention it's been a slow year so far for Mondo which helps me obtain my older ISOs.

On a brighter note a generous EBeaner has hooked me up with blackwater and a handbill (matching #'s) so that will be on it's way this week.
There's also a Django Wood for $900 plus shipping and fees. Shipping would bring this well over $1000. I'm gonna fire off a message and see if $900 all in works. Then I can just have it sent to you K5

Your correct, the prices are really steep, roughly 400 average for the reg and 550 average for the variant atm already!
Congrats on the Blackwater & Handbill, probably one of the best GID prints I've ever seen. Good luck with the Django wood too, the wood base suits Django perfectly

I agree with the Blackwater. It's truly gorgeous. I stare at it all time as its just kiddy corner to my tv. Love the detail in this piece. And once it's dark enough and the GID shines it takes it to a whole new level of awesomeness. Here's my framing of it.

Here is it up close. It's double matte with spacers inbetween and love the corner cuts. I drew the root beer color from the castle bricks.

I'm truly enjoying the frame jobs for Blackwater.

Nice frame-job lpnaz480, I recently got these done. Sorry for the poor quality pics and glare (you can barely the notice glare in normal conditions), took the pictures when it was really bright.

Congrats! That Akira frame up is bad ass!

I handled an Akira and Akira variant a couple weeks ago. Such an amazing piece of art. Definitely too much for my blood now though

Thank Evil

The framing on the LOTR poster is awesome. Like the border on the poster and the wood frame combo. And of course the Akira is gorgeous.

Excellent frame-ups guys.

Great mat color choice on Blackwater. I think I may steal that choice for mine.

LOVE that LOTR frame, nice job.

So jealous of that Akira. One of Stout's best.

Speaking of Stout, I got my BTiLC back last week. Double silk matting, Chinese red over dark brown with gold/brown fillet. Couldn't be happier with how this turned out.
