Keep in mind that the last time they did this with Moss' Dark Knight Rises print, they ended with 9,350 and I believe that one was only for 24 hours. This Ansin Man Of Steel being 72 hours and with Mondo seeming to get more widely known and popular I'm going to guess...final run of 13,750.

Should we do a "Guess the Ansin Man of Steel Print Final Number" and someone wins a prize? Winner can guess a number and perhaps allow them to be within 100, so if someone guesses 12,000, and they make 12,100, that person would win? Any idea on a prize or just do it for fun?

My guess is the number comes in at 14,738 prints.

I am pretty sure the T2 Taylor was in-store only and I know the Iron Man 2 stout was in-store as well.

If they are shipping, then I would agree, the Ansin metal one fits perfectly.
They also said they'd never do a 10,000 poster run and they've done that twice since then. It's all about the benjamins now.

At first I was thinking 15ish but I'm gonna go with 11,635 as my guess. I think the whole 72-hour window is suppose to let people see the movie first if they want, then decide if the poster purchase is worth it for them. It will certainly start huge but will it die down through the weekend, or will it stay steady?

Only time will tell

I could use some help guys and gals. I remember we were talking about what some of us hold our posters in. Someone suggested they use and art folder. I am not 100% what it was called. Do they make them big enough to hold movie posters? I can't seem to find anything on them. I got to get ride of all these poster tubes. I would rather keep my posters flat but I don't have that many poster frames.

It would be for one-sheets. I don't want to keep all the tubes they came in. I need the space and think they would look better. I am not sure if this would work better or not.

I like the Ultra-Pro semi-rigid sleeves, they come in size 29x43 giving a few inches of extra space for a one-sheet. I can get a fairly good price on them, they come as 10 individual sleeves per case. CdnBlue has gotten some from me, he likes them too. Not sure how many one-sheets you can fit in each one, but it can hold multiples.

I am very interested in these. How much do they go for? I can't seem to find any info on them. I keep pulling up sports card holders. Might try to speak with CdnBlue and see if they like them. I hope they won't mind. I can't keep them in tubes anymore. Some is them look a little faded but never taken out of the tube. It would be great if hold 3-5 each. Might be nice keeping sets together.

Looks like you can get them on amazon....but they seem to have an issue with damaging them in shipping. Less than $20 a pack is not bad though. I may get some and see how it goes...but I'm going to look elsewhere first.

They are Ultra Pro Top Loaders (24x36 or 29x43)

I am betting they will be nearly double the Batman one, so just under 18,000... 17,876

They work wonders. I use them for my more 'precious' prints while the rest just pile up in the flat-file. Feel free to send me a pm if you want more info or photos.

K5 sold me a couple of the larger ones at the comic expo. They work better for larger prints and have a little extra wiggling room. I was contemplating my Canus Dirus in one actually, but it's still not flat enough.

Here's a place on Ebay which sells 10 of the 43" x 29" ones for approximately $68 + $40.80 for shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-NEW-29-x-...item5d3b482c7a

The Ansin metal looks sweet. I'd like Taylor's without the movie credits. Going to pass on these though as the wallet is tight. For the guessing game tho if usatoday or Huffington put an article out to I'm going to say the final product will be around 15,325.

I stand corrected. Entertainment Weekly just tweeted their article for the Mondo drops.

I am unsure of the quality of this brand, never heard of Saf-T-Guard, the ones I get, while the same size, are made by Ultra-Pro, who have been in the storage sleeve business for almost 25 years I believe. I believe my case price is slightly more than this though, but again not sure if the quality is the same.
