Those prints are incredible, especially the Superman one. Perfect frames.

Thanks guys. Really proud of the way the prints and frames turned out. And finding a place to put them as I'm trying to keep my walls organized and the noir prints don't fit in with other themes.

Bottleneck gallery. The artist is Marko Manev. I think you can find some on eBay fairly close to cost. The actual piece is called Mutants.

Hi guys,

I was in the mall and I decided to walk into a framing store. You see, I want to frame the Star Trek Into Darkness FanFix poster that was handed out for the IMAX shows.

We talked for a bit, I described that it was about 1 foot by 3. And that I would prefer it to have acid-free backing and uv protective glass. He paused to think about the price and told me it would be about $300.

Is that accurate? Seems a bit much.

That seems rather high, honestly if you have a Michaels Arts and Crafts store in your area, check the Sunday newspaper ads section, they generally have a coupon towards framing.

Been a couple days since I've been on here so I figured I would check in

SDCC ruined my wallet. I hope Mondo doesn't drop anything crazy this week. I do like the looks of some of that stuff in Englerts solo show though, should be an awesome weekend!

Just finished spending a hefty amount on some SDCC swag. Think I got everything I wanted/needed though

Photos to arrive when anything new shows up at my door!

I hear you man. I didn't go but had PBs there and they did pretty good. Destroyed my bank account. I couldn't imagine actually being there and returning with probably more stuff. The damage I did was just for things I knew about. If I was there oh man...

And Gallery 1988 is having a Mark Englert show this Friday dedicated to Stanley Kubrick. Any remaining pieces will be on sale Saturday. More damage coming.

Thanks! Still debating whether to keep it or not.... I did order the timed edition as well.

Think I could get much if I sold it?

The 6 month average on Expressobeans is $169.96 with 53 sold. You being in Canada will make it a little tougher for you to sell at that price as your shipping costs to the majority of your likely buyers will be higher than they like to pay. There are at least 8 listed on ebay right now for sale.

Love seeing all the Pacific Rim stuff. Put my newly acquired PR poster up in my lightbox last night. Big mechs rule.
