Well that is a good question. I do know that sometimes an artist will make a print for a small group of people that all go in together to secure enough finances for the artist to make it worth their while. I think Englert did one for Aliens like this and I believe another artist did a Judge Dredd movie print, basically a dozen people went in and commissioned him to do the artwork and then they did a print run limited to x amount such as 12, etc.

It would have to come down to a print that everyone would want, but unsure if Vlad would want to make it an exclusive just for x amount of people, meaning something that he couldn't offer to everyone else. I did propose an idea for a print recently to him and he loved the idea and may start work on it soon he said, a film that has a large cult following too, but in the end he is the artist and has the final word.

But its certainly an idea to entertain, curious though if everyone here for example could all agree on a film title? I wonder what the top 10 movies people would choose to see a print made for would be here on this thread?

Here is the image of Vlad Rodriguez's next print "Interview With the Vampire" which coincides with the film's 20th anniversary this year. The print is limited to only 50 being made, all signed/numbered by the artist, size is 18" x 24", Matte Digital 80# paper coated cover stock with a 1/2" white border around it. Price is $35 plus shipping and went on sale July 31st at this link:

Well that was incredibly painful, but I think I walked away with a Stout. Ended up with an order number. Hopefully no oversell.

If you have an order number you should be ok, I think Mondo is quite good now at not overselling. Congrats on getting the standard you wanted. They didn't offer up the variant, as I suspected, it appears to have been an SDCC exclusive.

Yeah it was incredibly slow. I'm guessing all is well since I ended up with an Order number. I thought I may input my CC wrong but the processing payment screen would have given me an error wouldn't it?

You should be good but check your email over the course of the next few hours just in case, if you dont get an email from Mondo by day's end, your order went through.

I got in as they were updating the site and still didn't get a print. Got into my cart and it hung on processing. Glad to hear someone was able to get one. It's a nice looking print.

How do you guys know the GOTG poster from mondo was to be released. Pissed at my self that I missed out on it. Didn't even know it was coming out.

Mondo tweeted about the up coming release and sent an email to their subscribers the day before announcing the release. Also the fact that they released only the variant at sdcc was a pretty good indication that a regular was on the way.

If you haven't already, make sure you sign up for stouts email as he said he expected to have some prints to sell. Your odds are probably less likely to win his lottery but you can't win if you don't try

As Roar stated, you can follow Mondo on Twitter, you can try for Stout's lottery, or sign up for Mondo's email mailing list, which I recommend because you will get an email the day before the prints go on sale, but remember they drop at a "random time" when they go on sale. Also remember when it comes to Stout prints, the Mondo versions are numbered only, the ones direct from Stout come signed/numbered and in most cases stamped on the back, with the exception of the Kill Bill variant, those were not stamped due to the paper stock.

To sign up for their mailing list, log into your Mondo account and scroll to the bottom and you will see a row of symbols such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumbler, and on the right side an envelope. Click that and a drop down box opens up, where it requests your email to be added to their mailing list. Enter it and that's it, and you will get notified from here on out.

With regards to the GoTG variant, yeah, it surprised a lot of people that they released it on the lat day of SDCC, the rumor is they sold 175 of them with a print run of 350. The artist will more than likely have some too, but then on Friday when no variants were offered, I think you may see collectors scrambling to get the variant since it appears Mondo won't be offering them online. Also the variant has slightly different artwork than the standard too.

Eh, I just broke down and bought one off ebay for $16 just in case DMR never puts them up. Better to be safe than sorry.

Lets just hope the one off eBay is legit and original as well as being in mint condition. $16 is a steal for that poster, seeing that 99% of the posters dealers couldn't even get them, so there aren't many out there.

I'm not too concerned about mint condition. It is authentic though. The reason it sold for so low is that the guy didn't put the size dimension in the listing. He only called it a "double sided poster". I wrote to him to confirm it was 27x40 and it was.
