The best thing about Mondo is how the prints are on ebay as soon as they sell out on the site. For many times what they originally sold for. I wanted one of the Army of Darkness prints so badly, but I'm not paying what they want on ebay.

Screw Mondo! There's plenty of nice artwork out there from talented people where you don't have to.fight to get yourself a print.

I will be keeping an eye out on his site in hopes that he puts some APs up.

That would be awesome. My Ghostbuster print is on route too. Can't wait to get it.

Was hoping to get picked for the Stout's lottery for his GOTG print today. Really disappointed. Really liked it. But not going to pay crazy eBay prices. Oh well. Anyone else get lucky?

I found out about his site and the lottery 20 minutes after it closed!

Well his comment about it being humbling makes me think thousands entered. So it was like playing the real lottery almost.

Ok so I am looking for decent frames for my posters. Tired of the cheap ones with plastic covers and cardboard backing. They get scratched and scuffed up. Checked Michael's and Hobby Lobby, but they want $100+ to make one. Is there anyplace that have decent ones already built for less than $60? Is there something between the cheap plastic fronts and glass? Thanks.

I don't have any real movie posters, mostly mini posters they hand out at screenings or when I was at Comic Con, so maybe my opinion isn't useful but these are some of the suggestions I got from my friends that were a tad more expensive than what I ended up using [Michaels - did that quote include coupons?/Target/BedBathBeyond].

IKEA. They have a 27.5x39.25 10+lb aluminum+glass frame for $20 called a Stromby. A friend got me one for the Casino Royale poster I have but I live in an apt so can't nail it to the wall & don't think those Command strips will work. I just do the artsy thing and have it leaning against the wall.

Groupon/Living Social for local deals from framers/frame shops in your area.

Check your local University and figure out where the art kids get their frames for their art. The art shops are expensive though as students get a discount [still seems overpriced even with].

Otherwise online - ebay/amazon?

Found this, but again it says it uses a PVC lens. Is that what is on my cheap walmart bought ones? Because that gets to scuffed up.

like a lot of things in life, you get what you pay for. In this case im not sure you are going to find frames of any quality for less than $60. I've paid hundreds for framing with matting and proper backing and glass. No doubt you can do better than that in the states but i'm afraid you're budget may need to come up.

Check out the online sites that make to order, maybe you can get closer to your price point online.

Anyone bought from here? Says they use plexiglass, and has a anti glare option. Price is right, $140 for two.

Never mind did a thread search and saw nothing but praise for the site. SO I will be buying my frames from them. Now to decide if I want to cheap out and not get the acid-free foam core and anti-glare plexi.

To me for cost I'm kidding... it's a beaut, I prefer the regular to the variant.

Not sure on size yet, The Thing was something I talked to him about a while ago, and mentioned he should do a print for it. I suggested if possible to have the entire crew on the print. He loved the idea, and is working on it now, having put up a tease image of the character Windows on his Facebook page which can view below, but remember it is a works in progress so far. Not sure on size, Id like to see a 24x36" version personally:

I should have some info on edition size and prices soon but it right now sounds like it will be quite limited.

K5, what is your guess on when paper movie posters will be replaced my digital movie posters in movie theaters?
