I know right! You'd be out of business and us collectors would be screwed as well.

I think posters will be around for quite some time, it doesn't cost much to print them and updating digital ones in theaters would be a bit confusing, but perhaps it would all be done internally. Who knows really if it will ever happen, but you never know. Right now I am just trying to finally get my entire inventory organized and updated.

The local Cineplex to me primarily has digital boards in the theatre. There are some paper posters inside, but not many. They've got paper ones outside but they are completely trashed all the time. The sun just abuses them.

I think existing theaters will continue to use it forever. I don't ever see them switching to digital personally. Especially when all theaters today have invested in the current method to display poster art. There is something timeless and classic about it, which I why I don't imagine we will ever see its demise. In fact, I personally haven't seen any use of digital posters on display. However I have seen them switch paper to digital for the snack bar options.

I think your company will remain in business forever. Or at least as long as there are movie theaters. Which will most likely cease to exist in our lifetime.

To provide a contrasting viewpoint to the print v. digital - I have to admit, I loved print posters. I stocked up on them a few years back, around 20-25 of them (which I still have, 11 currently on display in my entire home), but then every time I wanted more, it's always that "rotating" I disliked. I wanted to display as many as I could!

To that end, I bought a TV, turned it vertically, and use it as a digital poster display, and now I can have hundreds of my favorite high-resolution posters freely available, scrolling by at whatever speed I want!

To me, movie posters are supposed to make you want to "SEE" the movie, correct? And since I started my digital display, I've been casually having breakfast only to see a movie poster appear, of a film I hadn't seen in a while, and would think "Oh yeah! I'll watch _____ next" or my lady walking by, seeing a poster, and asking me, "I haven't seen that, it looks good! Let's watch it!"

That's my favorite thing about the digital medium, being able to have massive amounts for ready display. Of course, you do lose out on the custom/fan art (read: Mondo, etc) posters.

That, and the opening cost is a bit larger. Poster + framing can easily be almost $100/ea, so the digital frame idea paid itself off after 4-5 posters.

If anyone is still looking for the Marko Manev 3-print set that was offered for 48-hours only earlier this year, let me know, as I have one set left in my inventory.

No worries, trust me I am so far behind with my inventory and a second update for this year, it's not only embarrassing but pathetic on my part. I just finished up with the 4-day PAX convention here in Seattle, not as a vendor but as a fan. Took my nephews and we ended up with a ton of cool stuff, much of it soon to be on eBay.

Has anyone ever dealt with having to return frames purchased from hollywoodposterframes.com? I received two yesterday and both have streaks in/on the plexiglass that I cannot remove. I actually bought them through their ebay store, and see that I will have to pay to return them. But I really just want two new ones, cause I love everything else about them.

Hell ya, just ordered this off Mondo by Rich Kelly. Been dying to get nice poster art for TMNT, this is one of the best ones done so far IMHO.
