it says "Photograph this entire poster with google goggles on android or iphone." So im guessing it is one of those electronic tag things, i don't have a iphone or android so i cant try it out...

also, just curious, where do you guys get your posters and are they double sided? I was thinking of getting some newer release movie posters off of moviepostershop.com, but i don't know if they are double sided? Anyone know or do you know where you can get some high quality double sided posters?

I'd start with a pm to the man who asked you the question, he is a wonderful resource

Search for his replies in this thread as he has given his opinion on the various online vendors in the past. From my experience movieposter.com is a great place to buy and they do a ggod job of identifying which posters are doublesided and original.

I am hearing the final style for Suckerpunch will more than likely be the same imagery as the final but with the credits added at the bottom. I will PM you guys directly since I can't openly promote myself and I am trying to do right by it here because I enjoy this site.

I will contact you directly here via a PM shortly. If you are looking for authentic originals, then I would shy away from MoviePosterShop which is basically MovieGoods as they are one in the same and offer up reproductions, not originals. Quite misleading it can be, but they are offering 27x40 "reproductions" that are produced in-house and have no collectible value to them.

To add a little more info on that Ken Taylor "Terminator 2" poster, yes 120 of them were made, original price was $40, each hand-numbered, but there was also a very limited "metal variant" which was printed on a sheet of actual metal. Only 20 were produced, price was $200 each, and the ONLY way to get it was by going to the Mondo store in Austin Texas. Needless to say, they sold out rather quickly.

There have been a few of the "metal" variant posters made. The first was Tyler Stout's "Robocop" one which looked amazing. Mondo offered shipping on those but due to the high costs to ship, and the fact that it was a nightmare for them since some got damaged, Mondo announced from that point forward they would no longer ship the metal variants. The next metal one was the above Ken Taylor "T2" one, which was in-store only, no shipping.

The third metal variant they made was my favorite, it was for Iron Man 2, again by Tyler Stout. Only 65 were made, each featuring an etched signature and numbered by Tyler. These were made for the newly remodeled Mondo store grand opening on June 4, 2010. Of the 65 produced, Mondo had about half of that run for sale at the event, price was $250, they had quite a line for them I heard and like the previous T2 one, no phone orders and no shipping of these so you had to actually be in Austin to get one. I managed to snag one for my collection though, it really is much nicer in person, the paint used is the type used on road construction signs so very durable. The last metal poster made was for the film "Monsters", I didn't care for it at all, but it did sell-out. There were 50 made, price was $110 when initially offered by Mondo.

That is pretty sweet looking. Though I told myself I wouldn't buy a poster unless I loved the movie. So I'll have to wait and see if I like it first.

Interesting, I am curious why the ones I saw didn't have that thing on them. Maybe some were produced with and without the logo.

I've got a couple of more posters on the way... I picked up the advanced suckerpunch and another one I can't bring myself to post... Let's just say my 5 and half year old daughter was browsing movieposter.com with me while I was looking at the up coming releases and she saw one that caught her eye

it opens on the 11th if that isn't a big enough hint. What I wont do for my girls.
