Sadly My avengers poster just showed up and its in pretty bad shape Ive not gotten one this bad since Tron legacy

Its been bent in several places along the tube.

Also its single sided for anyone thats curious

Ouch. Sorry to hear that- I'm shocked Disney has not gotten better with shipping posters yet.

One of these days they will learn that we aren't 10 year olds who just stick them on the wall with tape. And they will actually package them well.
Disappointing that it's single sided, but that's better than nothing.

Its very unfortunate. One side was missing a cap from where it got crushed.

I went ahead and ordered another if it arrives this bad as well then Ill contact disney. Im afraid they will run out before I can get a exchange.

I am not shocked Disney hasn't gotten better with shipping posters actually. The staff that package them up are probably get paid minimum wage to toss items in boxes or tubes, there is no protection or thought given that they are collectibles especially original movie posters. It will continue to be like that unless you get an employee who cares or knows what they are doing which is unlikely. I have been saying it for years and there hasn't been any change. Maybe I should contact them and offer up my services, nearly 25 years of shipping posters and have yet to have anyone complain about the lack of packaging on my part, at best some have felt I "over" package. ;-)

That's why you need to order from me. LOL!! I believe unless the DMR site says "double-sided" or "two-sided", they will generally be single-sided.

Haha yeah but free is better than who knows how much. I want the poster but I don't want it $100 bad.

That's what I was thinking. I wish they would take care of their things (Disney) but free Avengers is nice too since I don't have one. BUT I do NEED a 2-Sided advance sheet- that's for my real collection.

I don't believe the advance is that hard to get, possibly, Disney titles are very hard but the final style is harder to find that the advance teaser for Avengers 2.

Actually everything except for Avengers I could the final, advance style 1 or 2 of certain Disney/Marvel ones are harder. Some might seem non existent. lol. I did miss the Winter Soldier final but got the 1st two easy.

Remember there are differences between the domestic and international styles despite looking the same at first glance.

True very true. I know that too.

I have a great eye for movie posters- I've loved them all my life. Plus job experience helps too.

I'm not on movie posters to much, still on a screen print/ commission/ fan art kick. But I do need my Marvel/Avengers collection to be still maintained.

Well if you are still on the hunt for the first Iron Man teaser and the final, let me know, I have them in stock. They aren't cheap though, those are quite difficult to find, especially the UV-glossy teaser which is what I have.

I think I'm good. I have WAY, WAY, WAY, too many posters anyway.
