Rick's is pretty legit, but you can always ask them via email to confirm if something is original or a reprint that you may see on their site.

Since the style "B" was still up in theaters when Ledger passed, theaters were asked to take them down (they were not recalled as some people believe) but asked to take them down as the studio didn't want the poster up and be accused of exploiting his death. All the ones that the studio still retained that weren't shipped to theaters were ordered destroyed.

Watchmen had four styles, including the IMAX version. The Cars style you have was the final style and that was an incredibly difficult poster for dealers to get, as is the case for a lot of the Disney/Pixar titles but that one particular poster was a hard one. I got them in and still have them, but I just remember how hard it was for dealers to obtain that style, yet the advance style was pretty common and not nearly as popular.

I actually made a few mistakes in my post lol I have 4 Dark knight posters. I have the First teaser (the building with the bat sign made into a smile), the Joker poster you talked about and both finals (burning building and bat pod). I also have the bat pod banner (6' X 9') I have 3 Watchmen (Ros, Comedian and Final)

You have them all for the original release, good job. The re-release style is the rarest of them all but not as nice as that Joker style "B". Cherish that one, it can be pretty expensive and you should feel good that you know you have an original because lots of fakes out there being sold to people. The Bat Pod banner that you have, does it look like the third advance of him crashing through the building? They also made a subway style which was different and quite nice looking. Sounds like you have all the Watchmen as well. I just got in a few cast signed Watchmen posters by all the actors, director, and co-creator through a studio contact.

I would post images but all the images I have are too big for here, and I have yet to learn how to take an image and reduce it in size.

I don't have any pics. All my posters are in the tubes they ship them to theaters in. None of mine have been displayed. Well my Cars is framed and hung in my hallway. But the banner is the same as the poster you mentioned.
I call and order the posters for our theater so I kinda got dibs on whatever I want.

You could uses another site like Photobucket.com. Set up a gallery of images and post the link to that page of images.

The banner is a thick vinyl, correct? I remember seeing that one but I didn't bother to get any since the image was the same as the poster. They did do a very kick-a$$ one of Ledger as The Joker though, that despite what others may report, was never done as an official poster. It is a whopping 8 feet tall and 5 feet wide, incredibly difficult to find anywhere, and features a full image of Ledger standing with an explosion going off behind him and debris flying everywhere, one hand clinched at his side, the other holding his machine gun. It is from the scene where he says "hit me!" while Batman was racing towards him on the Bat Pod. I believe it was a companion to the banner you have. I will see if I can do the Photobucket thing as Evil mentioned, but it may have to wait until I get back from vacation. It is by far the coolest image of Ledger as the Joker.

Thanks, I will look into that, for some reason I am still a tad bit technically challenged in a few areas.

If you have a Suncoast in your area, they sell 27x40 frames for like $20. That's how much they were before I left Honolulu back in August. I bought several from there to protect some of my posters.

Suncoast also has sister stores such as Media Play and I believe a few others, but not sure so if you don't have one, you may have the other.

Even I figured it out. If you have the pics saved on your PC all you do is go to Photobucket.com and make a FREE account. The click the link to add images to your gallery. And add each image you have. You can name that callery posters of figures or whatever you like to keep items organized.

Once you do that under each image there is a few codes you can uses to put the images on other webpages.

1 is a direct link to the item you want someone to check out
another is an image for forums and boards and IDK what the other options are for lol.

Yeah it's the thick vinyl, I also have the Spiderman 3 banner like this and the three character set from Hellboy 2. I plan on one day opening a comic shop and thought they would look nice in the shop. Or give them to my son if he is into comics when he grows up.

Yes WB did a great job with the banners, when I get back from my trip I will need to show you the Ledger Dark Knight banner, it is quite awesome and incredibly rare. Opening a comic book shop sounds like a good idea, because comics are bigger now than they ever have been with regards to Hollywood. Lots of new fans getting into comics because of it.
