I think I need to buy a couple more movie frames. I got two nice ones a year and a half ago, hopefully I can get more that match. Then I can finally get rid of the two cheepo walmart frames.

bought a cheap poster frame from display2go...im not going to be framing original posters in custom frames just to expensive. so i finally put this up in my server room.



then this just shows my goal to add at least three more frames

Ordered an original Apocalypse Now poster off of eBay recently, which was in pristine condition and rolled. Key word here is was, as you can see by the pictures, it was damaged in shipping, patterned down the center and right side. Really unfortunate, won't likely find another rolled one in that kind of shape, without a real premium price attached.

Got a TFA poster from DMR and it's got damage on the edges due to the end caps on the roll jamming it in both ends...

Does anyone here actually complain to DMR to try to get a replacement or do you just live with it?

The damage your poster has is quite common when dealing with DMR, many people have had the same issue. I am sure plenty complain to them, but the complaints fall on deaf ears. For DMR it's easier to credit the points or send another replacement (which will probably be damaged as well) than to actually take the time to correct the issue. To think how much money and time they could save if they did listen. I have reached out to them in the past, but they simply don't listen. It's quite unfortunate for those collectors out there who are redeeming their hard earned points only to get something trashed due to poor packaging.

It would depend on how much the damage goes into the actual poster or if it is limited to just the outer edges, such as minor fraying. A good metal frame should be able to cover that up, check your local frame store as often times they will have a large selection of frames, but then cost comes into play and having a poster professionally framed can run $100+

Hello all,

I have a new, unused Winter Soldier lenticular one-sheet I'm looking to sell and I figured I'd check here first rather than dealing with ebay. I purchased it with some plans in mind that never panned out and now it's just sitting in a closet doing nothing. It's in excellent condition with no scratches and still in its original shipping sleeve. It was never displayed. An image (not of the one I have) is attached.

I placed my first order from shout factory yesterday for the Transformers 1986 movie. I purchased from them to get the exclusive poster.

I'm waiting for an Ebay purchase of 3 Audry Hepburn lobby cards to arrive. If they are original I got an incredible deal.

My most recent 27x40 is the advance for Star Trek Beyond. I liked the film and and the posters. The final doesn't include the full cast although Regal cinemas has a variation that does for anyone interested.

That's my recent poster activity. Who's next?

I added the timed release Laurent Durieux "Indiana Jones and The Raiders of The Lost Ark" and Mark Englert "Hope is not lost today. It is found".

I'm selling some of my portfolio that won't make the wall like Jock's The Thing variant, and Kilian Eng's The Terminator, both from 2013 SDCCC.

Got a couple prints from Bottleneck recently. I was able to snag Big Trouble in Little China autographed by none other than Drew Struzan, and The Fellowship of the Ring by Karl Fitzgerald.

Big Trouble has already arrived and is framed and hung. Fellowship hasn't shipped yet but I got a frame ready and a spot picked out in the man cave.

I also picked up Durieux's Raiders of the Lost Ark release. Got that framed and on the wall as well. I was torn about getting it but it looks much nicer in person.
