God, I've got a load of posters I've collected over the years, and I really should pick up some frames for them.

Now, you have to appreciate that I'm a tight-fisted b*****d, so I resent that UK Quad frames cost more than US One-Sheets.

Opinions please.
Looking at the 3 Rogue One posters on DMR site and can't decide which one. The first teaser is wonderful in it's simplicity but I really like teaser 2 also. The so called Party release poster would also go nicely next to my Force Awakens theatrical poster.
By the way why are they calling it Party and not theatrical ?

Technically they should list it as the "Final Style" since the three posters are all theatrical but it was probably put up on the website that doesn't know proper original movie poster terminology. I was surprised Disney did two teaser styles, the pattern had been one teaser and one final style, that went back to even the prequel styles. Rogue One is the first time they made two teasers and one final style with regards to posters (referring to the domestic USA release).

I also have about 60 posters for sale, all double sided. If someone is interested please send a PM.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules, don't want to advertise, just maybe help some Blu Brothers get some posters.

I'm planning on preserving my posters and have been trying to figure out a solution on doing that without spending a bunch of money. Most of my poster frames are from Micheal's. After searching the internet, I found a company, Artcare, that makes foamcore backing that is acid-free. They do make 27x40 or 27x41 sheets of foamcore backing. The sheets are 3/16" thick, which is the same thickness as the cardboard backings of the Micheal's poster frames. What I'm having trouble with is finding the right hardware that not only works with the foamcore backing but can also hold the poster frame up (between 3-5 pounds). Does anyone have any ideas?

Acid-free backing is really the way to go just to be safe and if you can find it at a good price, go for it most certainly. A much better alternative to cardboard that is for sure. Not sure what you mean by the right "hardware", if you buy a pre-made frame, it should be ready to go, you simply remove the cardboard and insert the acid-free foam board and the you should be able to display. If you mean the hooks to mount into the wall and then hang the wire over it to display, those small kits of hooks can generally be found at stores such as Bed Bath and Beyond I believe, maybe Michaels Arts & Crafts or Aaron Brothers Framing. When it comes to a full size one-sheet I would recommend two hooks on the back instead of just one, it can help straighten it out easier and the extra hook helps the added weight too.

When you say preserve, do you mean permanently which cannot be undone?

I would prefer to get a display case.

Last month, I was at a Comic Con in Canada and found a local guy who started making and selling LED lightboxes for one sheets.

Seemed like a good solution.

Yeah, I mean the hangers that would go on the foamboard, like the ones that are on premade poster frames. I'm a huge fan of the sawtooth ones and I know they make them for froamboards. The problem is that I have noticed that they can only hold up to a pound. I can probably do what you suggested and use 2 instead of one, but I was just hoping I could replicate what the premade poster backing was since that's how I have it hanging on the wall right now.

No. What we mean is changing out the backing of a premade poster frame, like the ones at Micheal's, to an acid-free foamboard backing. Overtime, if you have a backing, like cardboard, that is behind your poster, the poster can deteriorate and turn a yellowish color. In order to preserve the poster, an acid free backing is needed.

I've checked out a few websites that make poster frames that use acid free backing. These can range from $70-$200 per poster frame. I've spent so much money on poster frames from Micheal's that I would rather just get the acid free foamboard backing, reuse the poster frames, and save me some money. Display cases are really good and if you have the budget, I would get 1 or 2.
