I personally think it looks good, but not everyone will agree that most certainly is the case here.

I can probably do what you suggested and use 2 instead of one, but I was just hoping I could replicate what the premade poster backing was since that's how I have it hanging on the wall right now.
I personally don't care for those that attach themselves to the foam board as they can come off. I like the hook that you nail into a wall and then let the wire from the back of the frame hang down into the hook on the wall. I use two per 27x40" movie poster up on my wall that way nothing is affixed to the poster backing itself, just the wire of the frame sits down snug into the hook on the wall. Just my opinion on what I do for my framed pieces.

Rogue One is the first time they made two teasers and one final style with regards to posters (referring to the domestic USA release).
Don't forget that the IMAX poster is different too.

Good point, I sometimes forget about those IMAX exclusive styles that are done. Generally the studios themselves print them up for IMAX from what I was told by a studio contact, except in the case for The Dark Knight Rises, that IMAX style was printed by IMAX Corporation themselves which is why it is so damn hard to find, and is the first poster in a very long time ago that doesn't feature the lighter/faded backside, its the same color consistency on the back as it is the front. I had a few of them in stock, nice poster, which I could have gotten more.

I would prefer to get a display case.

Last month, I was at a Comic Con in Canada and found a local guy who started making and selling LED lightboxes for one sheets.

Seemed like a good solution.
Can you share the name of the guy/store you found? I may be interested in buying more if they are fairly priced.

I have a bunch of old, cult movie posters for sale - lots of stuff from the 50s,60s, but a good mix of movies. Most are 18x24, but I do have some larger posters available as well/.

Most of them are pretty obscure, but I figured I would throw an offer out there for this great community. I can ship them for $15 each, or $25 for two, and discounts grow with bulk orders.

Here are a few examples of what I have available: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing

Let me know in a PM if you are interested!

I don't think I've seen a Rogue One poster yet that I don't like. The imagery just works no matter how it's assembled.

Need help!

Can someone tell me from who's the autograph on the top of Kate Winslet? I'm trying to figure it out. Maybe the director David Frankel?

Just been doing some checking, and the whole cast & crew, his is the only one which even comes close to approximating it, so yes - it is the signature of David Frankel.

I do know that studios often times have movie posters signed by the cast generally at the premiere because it is one of the few times the entire cast is together in one place. Sometimes they use double-sided originals, other times the studio has single-sided originals that are signed. A neighbor of my folks has a daughter who was organizing the signings for the posters at the premieres for a few films and had gotten me two, and only two, as she knew I was in the poster business and a collector, but generally they are done so for charity events, etc. I have yet to offer mine, I will eventually two of the three films were not blockbusters, but the third, Watchmen, has at least a cult following and has the entire main cast, co-creator, and director on them. But with anything autographed be careful out there especially on eBay.

New to this thread; can anyone tell me of a swing mount that holds various posters? I don't want to spend a fortune, but I want one unit that can house multiple posters as I have limited wall space.

Thanks.

It's been quiet here for a while. 2017 is here and a lot of cool fun movies are coming out and hopefully posters with those movies.
What posters are you all excited for? I am excited to see what a Justice League poster will look like!

The King Kong IMAX poster looks great. Also like the last GotG and PotC posters.

I'm excited for the GotG poster, I have two of the first films final poster and will likely grab two from the sequel.

I just sold one of my posters from my collection and will be shipping it using Priority Mail. Once I place the poster tube inside the Priority Mail tube, should I add some padding so that the poster tube doesn't rattle around inside the Priority Mail tube when shipping? Or does it not matter since the poster will be protected by the first tube anyway? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'd secure it so it doesn't rattle around in what I assume is the triangle shaped priority mail poster tube.
