27x40 is the standard theater size but you'll find more reprints in 24x36.

As others have pointed out it really comes down to if you want original studio-issued theatrical one sheet movie posters or if you want simple reprints. If you are looking to collect not only for the art but the rarity and colletibility then you may want to consider originals which will be more expensive, but if you just want artwork for your walls and you aren't going to "collect" then reprints should work out. Originals are 27x40 inches, collectors prefer double-sided over the single-sided originals, but there are some out there who sell double-sided fakes. Mall store reprints are 24x36, however you can find some dealers/individuals selling reprints online that are 27x40 inches but the question of if they are licensed reprints or simple knock-offs.

I got insanely lucky... I got a GoTG Vol. 2 poster from DMR but when the delivery guy gave us the tube, it didn't have a top, hahaha, I took the poster out and no damage at all.

Others have reported that they have started to (finally) roll their posters in plastic poly tube sleeves. I had mentioned that several times to them but it always seemed to fall upon deaf ears, perhaps they finally started to understand the importance those sleeves can be. Now they just need to learn how to tape down the end caps it seems.

I like Star Wars as much as the next guy but that teaser poster is not how I would spend 500pts right now. I like a little more content in my posters! Thanks for the heads up though, always good to know when new stuff lands.

I assume you mean the 1-sheet for the first Jurassic Park movie? I just Googled 24x36 Jurassic Park and found a bunch. Amazon has it for $12. That size of poster is most likely a reproduction of that ok with you.

Are you going for authentic originals or simply reprinted ones for your walls? The 24x36 ones would in fact be reprints (but there are full size reprints out there too). Don't spend the money to have a reprint custom framed though, an original is one thing, but don't waste your money doing a custom frame job on reprints. Did you try MoviePoster.com? They are based in Canada, they may have some reprinted or originals for Jurassic Park, I haven't checked.

Theatrical originals are 27x40 inches, in some cases they may be slightly off measurement wise but the standard original theatrical movie poster is 27x40 inches.

UPDATE: If any US based forum member could help me acquire a Jurassic Park 24" x 36" poster I'd gladly help them on a Canadian exclusive Blu-ray or I could just PayPal them the money for the poster. PM me if you can help a homie out. Thanks!
You can try this seller but be advised much of the reprints out there aren't licensed, they are people who have them printed and sell them. So if you are looking for a 24x36 inch reprint, I have no idea if this seller ships internationally, but you can reach out as I did a search and saw they sell via the Walmart website. However, shipping costs to ship internationally can be expensive, you probably would be looking at about $20 in shipping costs alone via First Class International uninsured shipping so IF they sell to you make sure they package up securely.

Hey everyone, I recently acquired hundreds of old video store posters and and promo items. I have opened a facebook page to list them for sale as that seemed like the only way to easily list them all in one spot since I don't want to bother with Ebay on most of them. There's some original theatrical posters of various sizes mixed in as well and I'll be adding more a couple times a week for the next couple months. I have no idea on specific titles until I come across them. I'm selling them pretty cheap, here's a link to the page if that's something anyone would be interested in checking out - https://www.facebook.com/CTMoviePosters/

Also quite often reprints, even official ones are piss poor quality.

I bought a movie poster of the movie "Romeo & Juliet" (1996) from a local store. Maybe 1 or 2 years after release, I don't know for sure anymore. I quite liked it.

Years later, I ordered the same poster from a movie poster shop in Switzerland and it was an original print. I think I did that because I used pins on the original poster (yeah shame on me), so I wanted to get a clean one for framing.

After having both in hand I couldn't believe it. The one from the local store was really poor quality. It looked really washed out in comparison.

The original movie poster however was just perfect.

Since then I always buy original prints only.

My last few are: 2001 - the baby one, I wanted to get that one for ages.
And a really large one - Snowpiercer - the official French one (France gets really large posters, 120cm x 160cm, sadly always folded, but I know a company that is able to make those look as good as possible, they have special equipment for that).

I didn't have good luck with Amazon.ca. A few years back I ordered 9 27x40. Some were ok. I updated my room with another 9 in June and this time I decided to order from Allposters. I was reluctant from the reviews but I'm actually really happy with them. The prints are quite nice and they are still on sale. About $18CAD each. I'm ordering another batch soon to prepare for Halloween. I lokento swap them out every season.

Default Last Jedi Teaer Advance "B" Disney Rewards

Surprised this hasn't been announced here, a few days ago it appears Disney Movie Rewards put up the second teaser (aka advance style "B") double-sided poster up on their site. Limit 2 per member, 750 points required.

If anyone needs points to get them to the threshold I have extra points for sale for cheap that my nephews don't need. Private message me for the list of titles I have available, mostly DVD titles 100 point value on each.

Provided they send you near-mint/mint posters I wouldn't worry about it, that poster is and will be very much in demand. I am just surprised its still available, more than likely it will show as not available. It appears they are doing three posters for Star Wars films, at least that appears to be the trend starting with Rogue One. Up until that point all the prequel films and Force Awakens just had two styles.

Very disappointed, I filed a complaint with Amazon about it.
Sorry to hear that, I would be disappointed also. Amazon has become flooded with third party knock-offs as a result of them opening the doors to International sellers. China is the worst, they are knocking off everything that you can possibly think of.
